I think elimination is weird, but probably because they just have too large of a cast. Even with just the returnees, they were up to 8 already, which is the max size of the previous seasons. This is because the returnees included the catfishes from the previous shoot. So either the show do the entire week with just the returnees, or they add some catfish and new people to spice things up. However, that make the cast way too large like now, where we are already at 11. Hence Elimination

They would especially need to do elimination if they add any more catfish midweek like they usually do. 12 ppl would be insane as that 50% more ppl than all previous seasons

I agree that 1 week is too short, but I doubt they will change it even if they get another season. It been like that since the first season and 1 week seems to be the standard in other asian gay dating shows. The Boyfriend is the outlier and that is only because it is modeled more after Terrance House.

HanGyeol and YunJae are the new faces. I guess MinSeong is also a "new" face as he wasn't in the previous shoot

I don't trust the interview segments in reality shows. They can be easily manipulated by the show since we don't know the question they asked to get that response. As you said, HanGyeol was grinning and happy after chatting with Taichi, That is just a large contrast between what we see on screen and what the interview segment says.

In another gay dating show, Spark Camp, we had one couple that was acting couply all show, but then they showed an interview segment where one of them said the other person is "delulu". Who knows what kind of question was given to get that delulu response. That is why I mostly judge on the non-interview segments as it is slightly harder to manipulate those.

I feel Lee Hyeok Jin and JaeHa are the most likely elimination depending on if HyeongJun try to rally ppl against his ex. I'm not too worried about MinSung, as Taichi and HanGyeol were just mad about the room switch, but I doubt they are mad enough to vote to eliminate him. Especially Taichi as he is friends with HyeongJun, so probably won't vote to remove the person he is getting close to.

We are only getting one episode next week, so we probably won't get the result of the elimination until the week after

Yeah, I remember S1 where the show avoided showing the name of the places they are filming at, and the worker are positioned so their faces don't appear to the camera.

Sumin & Eum Hyeok Jin - I doubt they will be eliminated. They doesn't have any one pursuing them, but they also seems to be well liked by all the boys.
Lee Hyeok Jin - I think this is a definite possibility, as he doesn't seem very close with the rest of the group
MinSeong - will definitely get JaeHa's vote, but I don't see him being disliked enough to get more than 1-2 other votes, so he will only be eliminated if all the other votes are spread out
JaeHa - is a possibility depending on if HyeongJun can rally enough votes
YunJae - Unknown. He isn't super popular, but nobody is really against him so far

I think it was a joke as well. Yes, YJ did change after that. But so did 80% of the boys.

The group seems to be playing a special version of Jenga like they did in previous seasons, where each block have a kind of Truth or Dare prompt on it. It seems like Yun Jae got a dare to hold hands with someone and he chose HyunJun

I am rooting for Min Seong, but someone need to pull him aside to fill him in on the JaeHa situation. Watching him go after Hyeong Jun is like watching a blindfolded man navigate a minefield.

That might not be possible even with the best editing if problematic contestant was part of an end game couple (after all, they never said JaeHa and HyeongJun was the only couple), or part of a love triangle. Like many of the returnees said they missed out on going after HyunJun, like why? Was HyunJun chasing after the problematic contestant? Either way, I can see there being many reason why it is not possible to just edit out that contestant without it being giant mess

I am chalking the Gyeol's comment up as evil editing. You can see Gyeol was smiling and happy after Taichi's talk ended. It is probably the show trying to throw doubt on them so viewers are more tense about their potential relationship

Yeah, the multiple buildings wouldn't be so bad if the shoot happened during summer so they can spend time in the yard or in the pool. That and they can pop over to visit the other buildings much easier. Instead, we have the snow and any visit to another building require putting on multiple layers. Not surprised that most people mostly hang out in their room with their roommates.

I would give Taichi a bit more grace. They got along well when they were roommates, then he either been on Min Seong's date or sick. Considering how listless he looked the next morning, it isn't surprising he wasn't more active.

Yeah, the choice of yoga is just weird especially since Taichi is still ill. A quiet date at a cafe that is nice and warm would have been better for them, especially so they can actually talk and focus on what is between them instead on exercising.

A month would be great, but it is hard to get a cast that can take that much time off to film. You would have a whole bunch of influencers, students, or unemployed guys. Nobody with a steady job can take a month off, especially with Korea's work culture

I have doubt about that Han Gyeol interview segment being mad about the short reply. He was clearly smiling and happy after the chat ended. Definitely doesn't seem like a person who is mad. Who knows what question Han Gyeol was asked during the interview segment for that response. Wouldn't be the first time a reality show edited the interview segment to throw doubt on a relationship to make it more tense for the viewers

I think the TaichiHanGyeol ship is sinking as well, but it is also hard to blame Taichi not being more active when he is sick. I would never put much stock into comments that comes from interview segments in reality shows. They are often heavily edited based on what the producer wants. Who knows what questions HanGyeol was asked for that response.
