In the original novel that Xiao Ming Ming adapted his novel from, this 'Feng Lang' character was supposed to be like a sworn brother to his character 'Xiao Qiu Shui'. I guess due to their similar characteristics, he mistakenly took LSF as Feng Lang..

I was just gonna say the same thing. Although Qiu Shui brought home LSF, mistaking him as a friend, that wasn't entirely his fault. There were already Power Gang's spies in their home. They could be angry at him, but now they're just being so harsh on him.. Poor Qiu Shui.. ^т⩊т^ When their youngest was trying to prevent this tragedy from happening by trying to expose the Sword King, they didn't believe a word then...

I'm not sure if I missed something in-between.. It might also be possible that they're taken hostage like you mentioned~
