Yes Yess! It's always frustrating when our long anticipated dramas get their number of episodes keep reducing.. It's a bummer for good shows. Oh, also that rule about the happy endings in transmigration dramas.. The first ever I feel super satisfied was ADWAD (flawless, I'd say~ they fed us with the right medicine/meal), while others had their HEs but vague.. like WUT!? ತ⁠_⁠ತ

Guess this is not your cup of tea~ Imo, if that had happened early on, we'll have lesser episodes with nothing else more to tell storywise, and SL's main ML character is Jin An, not Duan Ao Deng/Prince Annan (although they are the same person)...

We'll prpbably get to see more of his comedic side in his upcoming drama "How Dare You!?", with Wang Chu Ran.

One example is Martial Universe. (There are many others, but I'll just use this for now) That drama needed that amount of episodes and storytelling... Otherwise, the story would've been all over the place..

Novel readers also already mentioned that the drama mainly focuses on the love story of Jin An and Li Shuang, while political plot points are added later on, which obviously includes our long-awaited 'daddy'😛, Prince Annan. They're a lost cause at this point.

I think it'll most likely start with new dramas, because it was the same when they made that "40 episodes only" rule. Well, but who knows~ It'd be nice if the new rule applies to all the dramas that are currently filming and those which are yet to start filming. Too bad, I also dunno their process of film production.😅

It's kinda scary how Su Muyang (CP), the latent "white moonlight", turned into a "black lotus" character, although we already know the reason why...

It was one of the best K-dramas I've ever watched, too! Also, Jumong and The Great Queen Seondeok! How I hope they'd make gripping dramas like them again~

Wow, really? That's great! That way we can enjoy our favourite C-dramas with more in-depth storylines and no rushed endings. The 40 episodes-capped rule made some dramas lead to rushed endings and in which they also had to edit out several scenes.
