I just finished watching this and I surprisingly enjoyed it! It was a slow start as I was hating the ML but got intrigued w/ the mystery. Before I knew it, I was sucked in & ended up finishing the drama past 3am. LJW is really a a good actor.

Well deserved awards. Congratulations team Dafeng led by Dylan Wang!

The positive comments are not just empty words. Most truly enjoyed this drama incl comedic parts. All I can say is there’s a reason this drama finished so strongly.

I really thought the fox girl is Ms Fuxiang as she really looks like her. So is Yeji played by a diff actress? I’m on my rewatch as I know I missed some details before.

There’ll be a couple of ep where she’ll get proper screen time. If you’re here for the FL, watch out for her emotional scene about her friend & romantic moments w/ ML. As u said, romance is not the main focus but the few scenes she had has made her memorable. Tbh, I’m glad that romance is not the focus as there’s much more to this drama.

Same! He’s only in like 3 pr 4 ep but the amount of tears he & Dylan squeezed out from me was a lot. He made his character very memorable.

I hope you’ll find the interest to pick this up again or at least skip to the last 2 ep as that’s really the peak of the drama for me.

Sorry to hear about your issue. It worked for me well last weekend so I was able to buy the express & I had to pay $6.99 for the last 4 ep. I thought it’s already too much to pay once so I can’t imagine doing it 5x!

I’m excited to rewatch this drama as I’m sure I’ll be able pick up on little things I didn’t understand before. Like in ep 1 when it was shown ML keeps on winning all the games at the fair actually meant he’s really got something special in him. I thought the drama just wants us to see him having fun.

Since you’ve already dropped this, I can spoil you that it was intentional that the ML is so lucky that everything came easy for him. Someone has inserted in him the ‘fortune’ of Dafeng.

They left to avenge XQA’s ‘death’. Don’t worry they’ll be back to explain what happened to them & it’ll be hilarious! One of my many fav scenes actually.

That’s ok as we all have different preferences. If I may just say, although there are really a lot of comedic/silly antics in the drama, there are also many heartwarming moments that revolve around family, friends & subordinate/senior relationships.
