Looking for a drama with a mature, green flag relationship without unnecessary drama? Watch this
I started this drama on a whim when a few of its clips appeared on my YT fyp - and boy I'm happy they did. I went in without thinking much, my expectations weren't high but they weren't low either. It just so happened that I had been wanting to watch a lighter, more stress free of a drama and YAMG turned out to be just that.
I won't make this too long. I really liked how the leads' relationship was drama free and a green flag from start to finish. There was a sense of mutual respect between them which I particularly admire. Major props to Dilraba - she portrayed the FL flawlessly and came across as a cheerful and adorable character without appearing cringy. I love how it was the ML who isn't as financially strong here, and how genuine struggles are portrayed in a more realistic fashion. I did find it odd that he went back to his job instead of opting for the higher paying one but I guess it makes sense for his character. It worked out well for the story anyway. The leads' relationship was developed quite nicely and the best thing was that even though there was no 'drama' per se, it never felt boring. The chemistry was absolutely phenomenal in this one.
I do have to preface that if you're looking for a strong, plot driven drama then you may not want to watch YAMG right now. This was a major chemistry driven drama, plus it's just sweetness all around. A good watch if you want something lighter, unproblematic and stress free.
