What I meant by Ming Yu's redemption is that she went from the selfish princess syndrome nagging b*tch to the mature and capable woman.
Well I don't know where the story is at ep43 but, as Ming Yu wants to please Zhong Qi, she decided to learn business (guess it was the mom's idea) and in the process she deals with her unrequited love for him. She was several times rejected and had a bad time since she couldn't get what she wanted. I think it made her grow, she was capricious but she learned to accept the fact that things can't always be however you want, that you can't force everything your way and so on. She really whined a lot before accepting though. Anyway, the fact that she starts working did a lot too, she got her feet back on earth, to value money and effort. She wanted to stick to Zhong Qi but found herself working and learning from her dad. She changed a lot, I remember her to be kind and reasonable in the end hehe Even her voice was softer hahha
As for Zhong Qi's blindness.. even though I don't want to think about it no more, yeah it's true story, it was the worst end of scenario possible and they did it

Cheng En and Ting Ting end up together and she gets pregnant! Cheng En takes responsibility and becomes a "man" (as Cai Jie was always after him till now, another redemption haha). He is an artist, remember?, and he paints Ting Ting a nude portrait. Scandal! But so cute
Alan/YaLun's lie about Weini being his brother is discovered and Cai Jie decides to adopt him. Furthermore, he forgave his father and starts anew with him. They become a family! The grandma LOVES little Weini! Zhong Qi's mom was annoying because she didn't want to accept him and whined a lot before accepting.
In the end Cai Jie is pregnant too!
And also I thought the mom pushed Zhong Qi with Ming Yu too much while disregarding Ai Jia in every way and it was really detestable.
Weini's biological mother called Xue Ling appears and wants him back. As she had abandoned him, Alan is against the idea 1000%. However Cai Jie is here to take care every situations (Xue Ling did a lot though: threat, kidnapping, etc.) The grandma doesn't even dare to leave little Weini alone!
Zhong Qi really had a hard time making up for his mistakes from the first episodes and had to deal with Ai Jia's father to get his approval. This meant several tests to prove his love and devotion, including learning to swim! At some point Ai Jia even pities him, anyway they can finally be together and happy! Btw Ai Jia changes style and becomes more feminine, first because of rival Ming Yu and then as the eps goes..

Just finished this minidrama and I can tell that anyone used to watch kdrama could easily watch it and understand what's going on with our limited korean knowledge
