Waiiit y'all??! I think this was my favorite episode lmao I'm finally kinda on board with Jihan. I don't hate his character anymore. This episode finally gave some insight into his thoughts and his side of things.
The distance between SML and FL is too much visible. They don’t look like besties at all. FL and ML look closer
I think the writers overlooked how little screentime the 'besties' got. They feel ridiculously distant because the writers didn't bother to write them scenes where they are friends.
I just want JH to help DH so that he won’t be terrified of his sexuality. He has been repressing his sexuality.…
I'm honestly not sure if I'm even enjoying the main couple. I think it would be wise for me to drop this but I hate doing that lol :D I think I'm gonna continue and hope that this isn't an utter dissapointment.

I think the stakes are too high for him to come out in a safe environment anymore. But yeah this wedding is pretty useless for DH. I don't think the writers thought about this as much as us commenters are trying to. So far my prediction is that the writing just sucks and they genuinely didn't think this through.

I mean. It's not THAT selfish to offer a shit ton of money to your friend to act as your partner for 3 years. She needs money. There wasn't really a way for her to get this much from her jobs either. And they planned to move out of the country and live in the US anyway so she would have only had to deal with this until the wedding and occasionally after that. I do agree that this wedding is pretty useless since he doesn't want the company anyway. He could have changed his name and lived abroad.
I was about to say how I'm in tears over how unserious this drama is after the aespa dance montage. It was hilarious but you can't kill off a grandma within 15 minutes of that.... horrible absolutely horrendous idea. Idk what on earth they were thinking. This alone told me enough about the writing quality. You can have fun cringe moments but they gave a ridiculous amount of time for that dance if they planned to kill off an important character in the same episode. Tasteless. Absolutely tasteless.
The preview????? I'm about to throw hands with Jihan. Like I'm sorry to everyone who is genuinely enjoying the main couple but my empathy is all on Dohan. He is terrified of his sexuality being revealed and AJ and JH are acting like fucking Romeo and Juliet. Like??? If I was paid millions to act. I would fucking act and push one pathetic little man out of the way. I don't see enough chemistry or history or emotions or literally anything between them to justify this. The ex better have lied about something because why tf is JH mad at DH in the preview? I still don't get Jihan's deal with trying to control Dohan's life and trying to make him the ceo. Please drama. Just explain and show me stuff that matters.
ep 4 just put everything into a new perspective. I'm very satisfied with this. I needed a very good reason for their hostile relationship and this. This is a very good reason. I can already see what probably went down and it makes me understand the characters a lot more.
we wouldn't be able to know what sites you already have but this is available in Bilibili and dailymotion.
I think I found like one episode but gave up because I couldn't find the others subbed. Now it seems like even that one has been deleted ... sigh idk where anyone is watching this from
a cute little romance drama nothing spectacular but it was kinda fun to watch at some points. The plot regarding the company was mostly pretty boring and unsatisfying. I skipped a bit in the last 5 episodes because I just didn't really care what happened with the business. Not great writing. I'd still give this a 8/10 for the chemistry they had. This had it's moments imo.
mdl should seriously delete the romance tag since it's not in any way relevant to this drama I don't care if the main characters get together in the last episode or something, that doesn't make the tag necessary I just wish ppl would come to watch this for the action and insane plot. This is hella worth watching but don't come expecting romance.

I gotta admit that this is pretty great. Complex characters with complex feelings and issues. This drama is genuinely very well written. Much more enjoyable than the novel (although it could be that the translation wasn't great).
This drama keeps pissing me off. I'm trying to watch without using my brain too much but the characters's motives aren't explained well enough and they are acting incredibly stupid. AJ is going out entertaining JH for literally no good reason and I'm like ??? Why??? It's not she likes him yet so why is her character incapable of setting boundaries? Also. If I was friends with a gay guy who asked me to marry him so he can live a quiet life, I'd be a bit more careful. Like she will obviously ruin this whole thing because of the weird relationship she has with JH. And I already think that DH is not ready to be out. And his ex will be a problem as well. I think the drama should have made it more clear that AJ and DH were technically friends for a long time but they knew basically nothing about each other's lives except for DH's big secret. They just aren't really acting like friends at all because the drama is focusing on AJ's and JH's relationship and AJ and DH's scenes are always them trying to act a certain way in front of DH's family. They need to show me these two being actual friends. You can't just say that characters are friends and not show them being friends in the current moment. Sure AJ was probably weirded out about DH not telling that he is a chaebol but they were supposedly friends for a really long time. I need to SEE the god damn friendship because for know neither of them is acting like they're friends. JH is my biggest headache. For the love of god. Give me some background on why JH is so obsessed with DH inheriting the company. I can't like his character at all before you give me some excuses for his behavior. It's not normal to try and control your brother's life like this. I genuinely need to see some tears when JH finds out what DH is actually hiding.
oops, I guess I was wrong. Maybe it would have been better if she was just pretending. Now I'm conflicted over both of these characters. It feels incredibly disgusting to be happy over your wife being terminally ill, no matter how bad your current relationship is. If he really loved her so much JUST three years ago, would a normal person really be happy as an initial reaction? Like yeah now you don't need to get a divorce but has she really done something bad enough for him to be happy that she is dying? I need to see this whole drama right now or I'll spent the next week being frustrated.
I can't deny that not finding the other ML attractive is a huge minus but what's even worse is the plot and the utter lack of chemistry between the leads. Where the hell is the chemistry? I have to give a huge shoutout to the director for making this drama incredibly unappealing to watch as well. The camera angles and music choices are ridiculously bad. The worst show I've watched in 2024.
Episode 12 was so intense I thought for a second that it's the last episode. Honestly, this drama has been incredibly satisfying to watch so far. I really hope the writing stays consistent until the end.
I just skipped through episodes 4-8 in 10 minutes and realized that I don't care about any of these characters at all.

it's hard to feel happy or giddy for characters you don't like yet.
