So, something you have to know about this director is that many of his dramas critique something within Korean…
I mean, I did get the point. I have nothing against the serious social criticism and I think it was easy to point out in the first half but it still wasn't a good way to start the drama. We barely got any insight into what FL was thinking about the whole ordeal and the pace was way too slow. The beginning of a drama is supposed to lure people in to stay watching. And this did a very poor job at it.
Okay first of all the talk in the restaurant with the Korean teacher was so intense I get almost did not breath…
Your last point is sooo true. It's pretty wild how their entire education system is about memorizing stuff when critical & creative thinking are almost more important skills in real life.
I don't know how I feel about this. The first half of the episode was incredibly boring and honestly just a bad way to start off a drama. This told me absolutely nothing about the characters. Just boring and way too long convos about a literary question. Okay, why should I care? Make me care about anything about this drama or its characters before you throw in a plotpoint. BUT I can already feel that Hajoon is gonna be amazing in a romance drama. His whole being just fits being a romance drama ML. The second half also got significantly better and I liked the colors and the vibe much more. Almost felt like watching two different dramas.
Just finished the first episode and I'm so confused. Is this drama trying to be funny... because it's not working at all. Jokes about feces and farts like this is aimed at 5 year olds. Seriously who would find this funny? Any adult would think that situation is mortifyingly embarassing. Overall seems like a lower than average kdrama based on the first episode.... Please someone tell me does this get better?
Tbh I am not enjoying the acting of the main couple. It seems like everyone else is loving this drama here but I don't agree. The plot is like a used-up gum, nothing here is innovative. The setting reminds me of that one japanese bl with the guy who agreed to date everyone who confessed to him but ended up dumbed because the other person could feel he didn't like them. And actually, that drama did it better. It is genuinely stupid to claim that Kisub is just an innocent people pleaser who doesn't know better. He has to have a minus IQ if he thought that there was nothing wrong with just dating dozens of ppl at the same time 'just to be nice'. Like be ffr.
Seem interesting until I saw the actress in the fat suit. Skip immediately.
I was about to do the same until they explained her weight affects her powers. So yeah I think it's just because the same actress will be skinny again in a few episodes or something.
I have forgotten that I'm still watching this drama so many times and I started this the day it started airing.... not a huge fan of the main actors and the main plot is pretty meh. I enjoyed the side stories of the ghosts much more.
Loved the chemistry. Didn't love the characters. This was toxic af and I was expecting healing. I really liked this drama to a certain point until they started constantly having such immature and insane fights, which honestly seemed pretty realistic, but incredibly frustrating to watch. Couples like this don't last. Her disability was honestly one of the best parts about this drama and I wish more dramas were brave enough to have characters who have actual scars and wounds from their trauma. But there is a big difference between 'I have trauma, I need time' vs. 'I will hurt you, not explain anything and storm out' and also her completely jumping into this relationship without caring that he did not want long distance. Lying and leading someone on is not cute even if it's the FL doing it. I don't agree with the whole 'let's just not worry and live in the moment' when you KNOW the other person deeply already cares about you and wants a serious future together. That's not okay. You can fool around when it's mutual and you both agree that there is no future. I did not fw this drama.
not sold on this one but I guess I'll at least watch the first two episodes side note, maybe it's just me but I'm so tired of seeing these stupid ass looking fatsuits in 2024.
Honestly don't even know what to think. The last episode was so long, I felt like I aged a year. This was a good drama in some ways (mostly thanks to the charismatic actors) but nowhere near perfect. This is not going to my top 10 or even top 20.
I'm honestly loving this. The plot is so good, and all the cases have been interesting. Ep 4 made me cry and I'm also curious about Young Han's backstory. It's probably gonna be the final showdown.
honestly, this is pretty intriguing for a mini drama. The acting and the chemistry are on point. ps. can someone please upload the uncut versions somewhere after this has stopped airing :'D

I have it in my bookmarks so maybe that's why I can still see it.
