I really fell in love with this drama and the acting of the main lead.
And to answer some comments : yes, it is slow paced and they take time to build a real storyline and they don't put only romance scenes and so on like some BL dramas. I don't see the problem here, actually that's even good because the writers made a storyline (that is okay cliché but still enjoyable). So I'm quite happy with that because you put a "good" storyline with the acting of the main leads and you have a really enjoyable drama. I'm sad that they don't make the episodes longer... Like the original heterosexual story is longer and so on but this one is quite short. That's the only real flaw so far that I can think of.

I really love the acting of Hank Wang, he is so natural and talented, that's so awesome. Aaron Lai is really good too but I still have a little "crush" for the acting of Hank Wang ahah

Actually that was better than I thought but the last few episodes were rushed, that's a pity because they could have used some interesting elements/opportunities but they don't... But that's okay, it's an average BL thai drama I guess. Not one of the best because of the end but still an enjoyable one.

Lin An Bang is really my favorite character. But he doesn't have enough scenes ! And to be honest, I'm a bit disapointed by this drama : there isn't enough action and the end is really disapointing because too obvious... But the production is freaking awesome, the acting is also really good and overall, it's very enjoyable and a really good drama. Just not what I was hoping for ! But I still really liked and enjoyed it ! A must-watch.

Well... Maybe I'll binge-watch it when it has been completely aired and if I have nothing else to do/watch but right now... That's a waste of time : the acting is not good, almost really bad and the writing is so poor than it sounds like a (really bad) wattpad fanfiction...

I don't think they screw up because they want to but they are just afraid actually. They are like kids who discover for the first time the "real"/outside world and they were schocked/afraid by that so they are naturally afraid and they tend to act like children

I didn't understand everything you said but I never cyberbullied him. I mean, I don't say that cheating is good, but if you read all my comment, I said that we didn't have the right to judge him since we don't even know him but people do because he is a celebrity and that's nonsense.

Strong friendship and loyalty, big yes. Bromance, not really actually. But still wortht the watch, that's an okay-drama even if the plot is sometimes messy and really predictable since the beginning

You have all the other adaptations on the description (related content). You can't find more of them tho... But you have The Four (2015), chinese adaptation that you can find easily but the writing is a bit rushed. And I din't find the others except for the Hong-Kong adaptation that wasn't that great but okay for a 2008's production I guess

It's not worth watching but at the same time, it's not not worth watching x'D I mean, the plot is messy as fuck, really the writers were high when they wrote this drama BUT it makes really funny scenes and you still want some answers about interesting events (I mean, I only watched all the episodes because I wanted ONE answer but I still don't have it ahah, the end of "second season" is rushed and doesn't bring anything and there is no sequel soooooooooo, what a pity).

But yes, it's not worth the watch if you are searching for something serious, but it's worth the watch if you only want to watch ridiculous situations and laugh. Tha acting is not that good tho, I had the impression to watch a rehearsal of the scenes and not a finished drama.

I was expecting nothing from this drama... And I'm still disapointed. Such a waste of time. The acting of the female lead is horrible, feelingless and the second male lead, well he has a screentime like a support role and his character doesn't really bring something to the story. I kinda liked the acting of the ML but during the first episodes, his acting was too much/forced but after a few episodes it was more natural and I really enjoyed watching him

But, that's killing me how they tried to hide his tatoo x'D Like, there exists like a ton of way to hide a tatoo and they chose a band-aid, that's really funny

I hope to see him in more main role, he really did a great job in The Mysterious World even if the writting of this drama was so damn poor (but the production was really good tho)

If you watch carefully, that scene is before the credits. So they cut it. So they chose to not do this end and they prefered the end that is in the "official" episode

Actually, there is a logic behing the SML behavior. It's just that the writting is so poor that it's almost not understandable. In fact, the SML is torn apart between his love for the princess, his duty as an official and his "brotherhood" (not well explained) with the ML. I think that the last episodes are really too rushed. But the SML chose his duty so he did have a duel with the ML and though he killed him but then when he sees that he is still alive, he chose to let him live and he asks him to protect the princess since he knosw that he lost her for the ML.

BUT the last episode is still more stupid than anything because the SML sacrified himself for the security of the princess and the ML but the ML chose to let the princess go and the princess chooses to go (lightly asking the ML to join her)... That's damn stupid, like they don't even respect the SML's death and they tried to make sense of their actions.

And yeah, I totally agree that there is no chemistry between the ML and FL. I really disliked her acting too, she was so annoying in her acting and she didn't convey any feelings except annoyance... Maybe with another actress, the drama could have been better. (And with better dialogues too ahah)

Wanted to like this drama, the plot was interesting, the costumes were nice to look at and the production wasn't bad, it was really nice to watch. But the acting of the female lead... I think that's one of the more annoying one I have ever seen since I began to watch dramas... Her acting just totally make the drama annoying and boring. That's a pity because there are not enough mystery and investigation chinese-drama (with historical background)... I'm really disapointed.

And the last episode is a real mess, seriously...

I don 't really understand the hype around this drama. It was really so-so not even good. I felt empty watching it because it was so cliché and there was not a real storyline... The main leads are so cliché that it was not bearable, I almost wanted to skip all their scenes... The only interesting character was Sun Hao but they didn't even tried to exploit his storyline. The writing was really messy and too easy, the dialogues weren't interesting and too predictable...
And yeah, Ming Tian could have been interesting but they totally messed up his storyline, making him cliché and really annoying to watch as a character...

I can't even understand how people can like the romance in this drama because it was so cliché and almost toxic sometimes. And there is barely any boxing scene or fighting scene. It was more focused on the tasteless romance...

But actually, the acting was not as bad as people can say, it was bearable to watch. Just didn't like the female lead because I had the impression to watch a stone when she was acting...

Ah ? What's the name of his character ? Since it doen't written, I was wondering if he had a serious part or not before beginning this drama ahah
