I'm putting this drama on hold for now. I keep fast-forwarding some of the scenes that are too boring, and their dialogues are too loud for me. It's not a bad story but why do all the characters have to scream at each other? Is that normal?
I agree, your review is exactly my thoughts about the story of this drama, just doesn't hold! After 10 episodes I'm putting this on hold then I'll finish it when I have nothing else to watch. It's frustrating how the miscommunication in all dramas is so tropey and the crying part and the trifles are too cringey. Why can't all couples just be honest of how they feel of one another?

IMO, the LYL character needs to end he is so evil, and he will never let go of the grudge. Kill him already anyone just do it. It's getting to be too tiring to watch. SZH and SWL brothers need to make up soon, STAT!! so, they can fight and destroy Mu Li Hua and her Shadow warriors in order to have a happy ending and more screen time for our main lead Mi Lan. There are 7 more eps. left, can we have some romance please. Enough fighting. And what is this thing about unrequited love triangle between Jin Jing Xue, LYL and SWL? Get over it already!!!

yes, for HT suitability is his preference over love- romantic notion of love is not forever, it's not good nor bad it's just a preference, doesn't mean you can't have both compatibility and love at the same time. For JX, her preference is to give validation of his love for her, not too much to ask but that doesn't mean it's not important to him. We can see thru his actions how much he loves her. It's not just enough for JX. Long term relationships require maturity, and both need to work on it.

Cecentre, I agree that everything about the character Zhang Min is truly weak, and I began hating him for not cancelling his engagement with Wen Na, while stringing along Luo Xi. All characters in the story had no strong points sadly, I blame the writers of this drama. I'm only interested in Zhang Zhe Han and his acting and will finish watching it. Yes, I first loved him in Romcom "Into the Ring" series with Nana - surprisingly he's an awesome actor, plus truly can portray a villain role undoubtedly. One of the best!
