I need a review for this drama. Can someone briefly tell me how's it?
Its a nice fast paced drama, the leads have amazing chemistry and the story hasn't dragged atleast for the first 12 episodes.....we have a gutsy smart and hard working female lead who knows her priorities....
Why is this drama getting a perfect rating from me? THE CHEMISTRY, I thought I'd never ship any one with Janice Wu except Steven Zhang from skate into love but the CHEMISTRY in this drama was on the heights....they definetly make it to my top cps of 2023. THE STORY. As much as this looked like a common plot I love how it wasn't filled with all the cliche plot lines, they got rid of the love triangle and we didn't have an annoying second female lead to keep wasting screen time rolling around male lead, the leads were given their screen time..the confusion between their relationship was cleared, those flash backs with both of their POVS and the balance between work and romance,I don't know why people were calling this slow paced..to me it was neither slow nor fast it had that perfect pacing to it..nothing felt rushed not dragged❤️
THE CHARACTERS, No doubt Xu yanshi joins Xie xhi Yao( Meet yourself), Song San Chuan ( Nothing but you) and Xiao Han( The forbidden flower) as boy friend of the year but I love how not necessarily cold but how calm mature and considerate he was written, yes someone you'd never meet in your life but definitely set standards...well done Vin Zhang on bringing him to life. Janice Wu has always been an amazing actresses, her naturally flowing humour and absolute charm, her gutsy personality but at the same time not a damsel in distress...I loved her❤️
Side characters like the technical department, th female leads grandpa, the cute little brother and all the rest did their parts as well and I loved them❤️
THE OSTS..guys the osts..I swear it's rare for me to have a C drama where I love each ost from one to the last well except shining for one thing that drama had amazing osts but this had OSTS I loved each one of them❤️
THE HAPPY ENDING I don't think I need to explain since every one obviously loves a happy ending.
I don't know if iam supposed to write this here but for future viewers who are having doubt if they should try it out then please for the love of it do..it was a cute light romcom and I'd rate it 10/10 I don't give that rating because a drama was perfect I give that rating because a drama managed to get all these emotions out of me, managed to entertain me and managed to be that good in my eyes...so yes this is highly recommended on my side❤️
I understand both of them..He has gone through alot and witnessed losing his best friend bared with the hatred of his best friends wife lost his dog, he Cleary needs to heal so I don't think Xu Lai pressuring him by constantly showing interest in him is doing any help...while she based her entire youth on him...as much as we see it ten years are a long time to just call it a crush....so I understand her wanting to make things work out immediately after reunion but it's a little rush..they need to follow the pacing that suits both of them from getting to know each other to being together and I can't wait for that...🤍
I'm shocked in 2 days the comments section is hit with comments like negative ones , I'm here for the chemistry…
I wish the comments were more constructive but some are clearly complaining about things that were visible in the sinopsis and trailer from get go while some are just biased🤣
People in the comment section misusing words like Heavy plot and filler episodes...
Firstly I saw a comment saying this had too much romance and romance was like the centre of it all .yes because clearly for a person who read the sinopsis and watched the trailer could know that this is a story about reunion and love so yes it's Romance.
Secondly others saying this has alot of work place scenes blah blah ofcourse the sinopsis clearly highlights female lead being sent to save this company from distress it's never easy she wasn't going to walk up the company and swing a ward and all will be well, she has to deal with enemies close and far..betrayal that's the only way her character could also grow professionally.
Thirdly the most misused word on MDL ( FILLER EPISODES) a filler episodes is that which gives us nothing of the plot...like at all but we have been getting revelations of both the female lead and male leads pov in the recent episodes those can't be fillers unless it means something different in your dictionary.
Lastly those who want heavy plots can check out crime thrillers or I don't know plots that are actually heavy stop looking for a heavy plot in a light romcom....it's comedy romance so if you want heavy check out something else.....🤣
Also giving your view on a drama is absolutely welcome....but being biased and giving reasons that actually don't make any sense is funny.....watch the drama is you want and if you find out it ain't your type them please drop but after dropping...don't make it a daily routine to come into the comment section just to show how displeased you are especially if their are many dramas airing right now..choose your fit.
She's my type of female lead...I lover her character, strong gutsy smart, knows what she wants, isn't easily bullied....and at the same time cute....🤍🤍
Iam still three episodes in and as much as female lead has been quite the chaser..I still don't find her annoying I love that she's bold and knows what she likes...as for the male lead...he's what most male leads that have hyper active female leads are calm and quiet and introverted...the story is something I haven't gotten into so far...I don't know but I'll take it as a funny and silly watch..I need that break since most of my K dramas are heavy and dark.....I don't pity the friend that likes her yes confession is hard but I hope he knows his limits and doesn't become a nuisance after the couple gets together, also we have faced problems with the multiple couples genre especially when it feels forced..iam actually not a fan and can do 24 episodes with just the leads....lol but I hope they aren't annoying as to become the centre of attention just to fill the episodes later on.....

Its the girl with glasses in the technical department...I thought it was going to be her because of that scene when they went with Yuan for some field work...and they looked good together
