I don't call this drama slow paced..but I guess people wanted things to work them selves out earlier on yet we had 32 episodes for all that......the pacing has been okay for me so far..from the meeting again to the interacting and the few misunderstandings that needed clarification and you can see that they were slowly put to light and cleared..the writer tried to give us both POVS which I helpful in explaining the actions of the other or even give us reasons for their actions...the work place element is more than needed since that's what the female lead came to do to begin with and let's not forget male leads dreams..all that needs to be included since the sinopsis talks about them helping each other fullfill their dreams.
Iam just super thankful that for now as of the current episodes we don't have any annoying love triangle and the leads screen time has been balanced fairly with the work place setting and the second couples which iam not even clear about aren't being put to the centre to fill up time..so maybe I just have wierd tastes in series but considering the fact that this is a genre I've seen before..this has been pretty much exceptional to me.
The chemistry between the leads has been Soo good...and the interactions between characters has not been bad so far....iam definetly loving this so if you asking if you should watch then I suggest you follow your own opinion watch an episode and see if it will possess you well enough to click next and next episode..or not...other than that personally I'd say it's a good watch
So I have watched 5 epsidoes, I really like Vin, but this drama is really boring, I wanted to drop this drama...…
Well maybe it has something to do with tastes or preferances..but this drama got me hooked from around episode two..so as much as I want to tell you to stick around for the reasons I did like the chemistry the effortless comedy or the technical department interactions.....that's something I felt from the beginning....watch a couple more episodes because for me each episode is better than the previous and see if you want to continue or not
Rewatched the kiss five times😂 Loved that little talk after they got together...about their misunderstandings and what is expected of their relationship ❤️
And yes Yuan can be a short circuit and moody person but I love that regardless of her mood towards the male lead she always comes fourth to protect him.......( It's like the only iam allowed to bully you) 😂
I don't know and I don't care what other people are thinking. I like this drama at first and even recommended…
“ The one who falls in love first is always at a disadvantage ” if you following the story then you would know that female lead fell for him at first back when they were still in highschool you could call it a crush...but you can tell it wasn't seeing how her feelings for him were stimulated after they met again.
Female lead is selfish and thinks about the entire world except the male lead? I'll give you a few incidents
She got drunk and risked ruining a company contract because they insulted the male lead.
When she was given the director position she thought about how he might feel seeing that he was the one who was supposed to actually be in that position.
She got worried and was willing to use her ultimatums towards her grandpa to ensure that male lead doesn't have to resign just to transfer Li chi( the guy who had become a problem in the company.
Female lead ain't selfish towards male leads feelings, she is just insecure and has doubts that could be cleared if both he and she get to talk
You read the novel and you don't know if she is the first choice for the character? This goes beyond your complaint if I might have read right your problem is with the female leads character but then if you say you not sure she is the first choice for the character then this only means that you talking about the actress portraying the character and for this I'd say maybe you should drop since she isn't what you expected....lol
Lastly if you post a comment on the public platform you calling for replies and ideas from everyone so as much as you have given your opinions you'll get replies from people having other opinions..it ain't called arguing it's called sharing ideas...thank you
One more thing I've noticed and I actually like so much..is how Yan Shi steals glimpses at Yuan Yuan and then smiles....damnn my heart didn't sign up for this👏🤣❤️

It's called having different tastes because I'd say so far I find the plot consistent enough for me to follow, they have managed to explain the characters especially the leads through of course some things need more revelations, they managed to do comedy and also serious plot correspondingly, and the characters are each managing their roles in the series, I like the work place setting and the story line so far..iam not seeing inconsistency so I guess it's about how you see it or view it....🤣
It's 32 episodes guys and the moment they chose to add a work place tag then it definitely had to contain work place scenes that including some annoying and selfish brats like Li chi and Li qin and those three annoying characters...all those happen in a work place.
What iam trying to say we only 12 episodes in over 20 episodes left...we won't be getting all round romance, reunion and giggling when her main reason for even coming was to save the company from bankruptcy....( This won't be easy, she'll mature in the process and also get to understand the male leads struggles)
So far iam loving this, I've got no complaints except Lu chi🤣 but can't wait for more
