On paper lovely and lighthearded, but what a dissapointment.
On paper this looks like a lovely, light hearted movie, but the acting... no thank you. Every single emotion was an act. Nothing felt real. Only watchable because of Kim Gun Woo. The only actor in this movie where you could feel some emotion and it didnt feel dull.Jasper cho couldve been replaced by any other goodlooking actor, you probably wouldnt see the difference. His character... like missed everything. No depth, no real emotion an overall boring character and not very pleasent to watch.
Bela Padilla in this movie. She wasnt horrible, not unpleasent. She just ... wasnt memorable. I'd love to see her potential, to see was she can actually do.
The script itself didnt help the actors. The intro/synopsis was fine, so was the end. My problem with this movie is the entirely middle part of it. Instead of building momentum, it was just a flatline for me.

Horrible first episode, horrible development
I normally dont write reviewsLets get started. What a trainwreck of a first episode. You just want to start hating the FL. Decent episodes from like 3-10 and then the trainwreck starts again till the end.
Si Da weird character, no development, nothing interesting, even a little weird at times and not the good weird.
Shen Qian Sha interesting character at first, weird development and why does she fall for Song Zi Hao at the end?
Tong Tong couldve been one the most interesting characters of this show, why not use her and develop her into the main hurdle in this serie? How she has been used in this serie feels just like some sort of filler.
Su Xiao appearences other than flashbacks added absolutely nothing to the storie. What a shame.
ML, Chen Fei Er & Ai Li were acceptable characters. Not great, but not terrible either.
Overall so much missed things; overall no development in characters, flatt storyline and a horrible FL.

Strong start, weak end
Starting this mellow romantic comedy it started of strong. A good opening, a compelling idea of the FL and ML meeting and developing the story. The depature and reunion made sense, although, it was fast and forced. The middle of the storyline was boring, nothing really happened there, no development in the company, no development in the relationship, only some filler storyline. The end of the story was rushed and forced, no real, natural ending but a rused and forced one.The acting itself was on most point a bit to fake, like it was a soap, instead of a drama.
Music was good, it fitted the overal form of the drama.
I would not rewatch the story again.

The kids carried the show
Basically this serie revolved around the kids, but the story around them (the origin) never really got explored. Why? No clue, but it makes no sense. Why didnt the writer include it properly? No clue. The part where the kids basically didnt get any screentime felt flat. For me it wasnt because of the quality of the acting from either of FL or ML, it was because of the weird choices made in the screenwriting. The strong beginning of this show is what made it a decent production for me. The middle part felt flat and the ending felt rushed. The love story/part felt as it was a side story to the main story revolving around the kids.Also a few other questions which didnt get answered in my opion, which shouldve based on the important aspects in the story.
- Why was it FL's dream to design jewelry? No clue
- How did the kids get back to FL and ML, respectively? No clue
The acting of FL and ML did not harm this production, the amount of questions and lack of explanation did that for me. For once I was surprisingly pleased with the quality of the acting of both FL and ML.

Boring and monotoom actors
A lot of the male voices were in the same ghostly euh euh voices. Its fine if it's one, but a couple so soon, it will be annonying. The start of the series is incredible weak, no expanded why and how, just a short this and this. Great cast, incredible subpar acting. ML monotoom acting, no sense of anger in either the events for e1 or e2.Good music, just misplaced at times.
