was season 1 worth watching? Stopped after 4 episodes because I expected darker.
I'm not a big fan of romance to be honest. I like an action drama the most, and I didn't really see any chemistry between Esom and Lee Je Hoon. To be fair, that's because the first writer hadn't developed Esom's character as well, and by the time the second writer took over, there were too few episodes. Regardless, I think Lee Je Hoon's character did have more chemistry with Pyo Ye Jin's character more (whether romantic or sibling like remains to be a debate). To me, I don't want to see Esom and Lee Je Hoon have a romantic thing in S2, if I have to have romance in Taxi Driver. I would much rather want romance between the Taxi Driver and the Computer Hacker.

I still want to see Esom's character fight.

Would love to see Do Ki and Ha Na fight together! That would be awesome :D But I feel like Ha Na might be used more like a clean-up crew.

I didn't think Taxi Driver 1-7 were phenomenal or anything. I actually dropped the show after episode 2, and then came back because I ran out of shows to watch. And then 8-13 I found myself slowly falling in love. And episode 14 blew my mind. It was awesome! 15 and 16 were meh, not enough action for me, but a good wrap up on the show :)

I don't mind how dark the show went. It was perfect dark and gritty for me. I don't need it any darker.

Wait. I'm confused. Why do the comments written here is as if Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger?I personally felt…
Exactly!!! I don't think there's any reason for anyone to be disappointed if Taxi Driver gets a season 2!

Even though I really liked Taxi Driver, I have no interest in a second season. One season is perfect for me, and…
But guys guys guys... hear me out.

Don't you want to see more Kim Do Ki kicking ass, the 5683 taxi going for service and Rainbow crew working together with prosecutor to serve justice (instead of revenge)?

I'm someone who stopped watching western shows because of the diminishing quality of multiple seasons. But I think this show might do a fine job. And if not, you don't have to watch it. Taxi Driver had such a perfect happy ending, you won't miss a thing to leave it right there :)

Not happy. Looks like KDrama is being americanized and that is not good. What I live about KDrama is that in 99%…
Normally I would completely agree with you. Nothing bothers me more than a cliffhanger season 1 ending and a poorly written sequel series show.

BUT... Taxi Driver didn't have a cliffhanger series ending. It was a really good happy ending. I like that the focus shifted from personal revenge to proper justice, and the show really leads well into a second season focussing on that. On top of all of that, the show is really case by case basis. Which I think works well with coming up with some seasons. I wouldn't mind watching Esom work with the Rainbow Crew in a couple of cases. I would love to see our favorite Godmother and how she and her sister can create chaos together. I would love to see more interaction between the Rainbow Crew. The only problem I see here with season 2 is that they don't have a personal story to talk about - unless they talk about our two mechanics unfortunate arson incident. That would be fun to address an arsonist case. Sorry, I diverge. I was just thinking that in this case, I might love Taxi Driver Season 2. Really truly love it.

Actually, if you watch that scene again, you'll see that he was watching a tv with adults. No kids in that scene really. They never mention that he was in an orphanage and never show it either.

Surprisingly, a lot of kids don't end up in orphanages or foster homes. They end up growing on the streets and fending for themselves, usually into the wrong hands.

No one really said he was in an orphanage though. Maybe the uncle has another backstory on how he became a boxer. Season 2?

Title Taxi Driver
1. Happy ending, very satisfying 2. It's pretty violent and graphic, there are a lot of fights. Also a few stabbings,…
This is very helpful for me too! Thank you Jelena and arandano!
