I can feel half of his life drained out from him because of his guilt and regrets. Yeli is heart broken yes and so is MXY. I cried all throughout with him every time he realised how wrong he was. Seeing Yeli's state of mind, so fragile almost child like is really painful. She was holding on to his promise and did everything he said only to end up alone again. She never complained she just shut herself off and pretend everything is okay just to keep herself sane. She was on her way to healing just to fall on the edge again. But she needs this too. To completely heal she must face this sad reality

When Yeli said " How could I ever be angry with you? " with a sad smile.... He realised how boundless and selfless her love is. His heart broke over and over again for her. And knowing that it was his own decisions that pushed her on her breaking point. The recent episodes hurt but it hurts so damn good

I know Ye Li is strong and capable yet she has this air of vulnerability with her that brings out the protective side of you

He kinda reminds me of Luo Yunxi

I don't like nor dislike his character but he truly is easy on the eyes haha

I feel so sad for Ye Li. I can't imagine how she suffered and how she survived for those 8 years before and after her mom's death

I won't get tired of saying how great Bailu is. This is probably one of her best drama. The more episode you watch the more it gets interesting. Her character in here is so damn intriguing

His connection with the consort dowager is also suspicious and it could be related to the empress dowager also . The monkey attack incidents also started to happen when he showed up.

I like how they kept the settings less ornate but the acting is profound and raw. It's daring and brilliant and I love it

Finished watching all 24 episodes and I'm guessing there's definitely gonna be a second season. I liked that they didn't rushed everything at the last episode and gave us a reason to look forward for the next season. I have no clue on who is the real mastermind behind the killings that calls himself as 'God' and it was hinted that Jiang Li's father is somewhat connected to it. I'll be waiting!!!

She's such a badass she ate those fighting scenes! I just realised how star studded this drama is even the supporting actors and cameo characters are commendable

I agree with the previous comment it is an awesome crime mystery drama but it was so focused on the cases solving that the relationships depth between characters were left out and it's such a pity because the chemistry is there and I've liked the Sun Yi Han since Couple of Mirrors. Nonetheless I'm still hoping for a second season with the same actors 😌

I'm on the last 5 episodes already I want more!
