I'm loving the drama. I wish the female lead was at least an adult while filming the drama so that I could expect a kiss but she is a child, so I'm not expecting any kiss. I am loving the characters but can't ship them like every cdrama (again because of the age). Aimi is experienced as an actress, so she can act. Hou minghao cutie is doing a fabulous job too. Did I mention yet that aimi still has her baby fat which won't be with her after 5 years when she will be a huge star? (Just like my fav actress. When my fav did her debut dramas, she had baby fat which made her look so babyish, now she is extremely star like with no baby fat, she's grown up). I wish this drama had a novel so that at least I could read further instead of waiting for next episodes

Those dramas of her are hits and I never said that those aren't. I simply stated that I couldn't watch those dramas even after trying hard but I can finally watch this drama. I have nothing against yu suxin and I can only watch things that I can concentrate on. I have ADHD. Sometimes I even skip my favourite artist's songs, music video or drama if I can't like it.

It looks gloomy to me. The cinematography of my journey to you makes me anxious but still i'll give it a try one day

This is the first Esther yu drama that I'm able to watch. I can't watch cute, cringe characters 😭. I tried watching the love between fairy and devil, love game of eastern fantasy, that one with lin yi and the one with he yu but I couldn't. I was unsure before starting this thinking it can be like those cringe character but I'm surprised. Thank you Esther for not choosing characters like your previous script. Here, she is cute too but in a normal adorable way, not like cringe cute infant type character. So I'm loving this drama more than I hoped for

Sometimes I feel that murong's son and qin feng are step brothers, sometimes I feel like murong's son is gay (cause he is highly attentive towards qin feng). I dont know but one time I feel that dude is a crazy evil but other time i feel like he probably is good at his heart. Specially because he tried to go and beat general liu. Qin feng also doesn't look simple. Every character is messing up with my head

The original writer has lots of original web novels that you can read. Most of them are based on modern world where 14 year old female leas sexually seduces her step dad. She basically writes pedophilia. She was even proved to be a plagarizer on court and changed her name. She gave interviews saying that she doesn't regret writing pedophilic stories. Short drama directors even rejected her. The writer for moli was changed in January and the filming began at the end of the may. The real writer said that not even a single line of the crappy writer's script was used to film the drama.

You probably aren't used to this type of serious and real theme focused historical drama. I think you like the make up and set designs of trendy historical drama where the real historic fashion is absent. Ye li looks older because ye li is older but she is clearly young than ding Wang both in the drama and in real life

In china, if you have adapted a drama from a novel, it's easier to pass censorship. Otherwise it may take years just to get a permission from authority to air the drama. They wanted to air this drama without any issue, so they brought a copyright for a novel, kept the original names but created a new story that has more depth

It will be a dealt with death punishment for recieving the emperor and empress dowager. So pretending to be a useless playboy is reasonably safer

So, my guess is that empress dowager is being controlled by consort dowager through misinformation. She gave her the idea to rule another few years before passing the throne completely to the young emperor. She and marquis muyang are in the same team. She along with muyang did massacre in lishan mountain and is now telling empress dowager that muyang only killed few people who plotted rebellion. She also arranges those kitty parties in the guise of building connections for empress dowager but she's clearly the one building connection for her. She definitely wants to rule the kingdom by removing the empress dowager. Also she is close to yeli's third uncle and she made the uncle move to ding Wang's mansion to spy on ding Wang as two close worker of marquis muyang has just died.

Okay, I'm still not hating ye ying. She is just a little fish in the game of sharks. She probably just wants to kidnap ye li and want to scare her 🤣 but is looking for assassin like people from novels 😭. She is too cute and scared to pull off a murder. She is trying to be a tough scary girl to scare ye li. And Han minxi dude is another wanna be assassin 😭. It's probably his first time too. Both met each other in such a dramatic way😂. Very funny

The ex crown prince is mo jingli's father and he was supposed to be the emperor. That makes mo jingli a candidate to the throne. So if he is an ideal prince then empress dowager will think that he wants the throne. So she will kill mo jingli and his family. That's why mo jingli has been pretending to be a spoiled play boy so that general public, empress dowager think that he is useless. That's his survival plan. I guess this is why his engagement with ye li has been broken off as lishan mountain is too powerful, being married to ye li will give him lots of connection.

She knows how to fight. We can show her hidden talent in martial art when she was helping male lead's nephew by defending a major blow from a martial artist

Actually I find her cute. She is just a brat but not evil yet. Her world has always been very different from ye li. While ye li grew up in misery, ye ying was pampered but it's not yet Ying's fault that her life is not miserable yet.
