His obsession over im yoon ah was something else. He only looked her way. Here I thought he would at least have a sense of gratitude towards song yoon ah, but it turned out I was wrong.

It was indeed a wate of time. The drama had a wonderful start, the first 8 episode was watchable but the second half was unbearable.

Here I thought it would have an open ending. ji chang wook was like a fool in the K2, I never thought he would also betray song yoon ah. It was disappointing and saddening to see. Even an emotionless man would be touched by song yoon ah's sincerity towards him.

You are right. Back then I thought he at least had a little bit of affection for her but I was wrong. Looking back, song yoon ah protected and shielded him a lot of times but I can't recall when im yoon ah did something similar.

Furthermore song yoon ah gave ji Chang wook all she had, back then I thought he'll at least be moved by her sincerity and affection. But then what? All I could see was ji chang wook thinking about yoon ah all the time, during those moments, I was angry that I said to myself. Oh, this man must be blind cause I just couldn't figure out why he would fall in love with her step daughter.

It was very disappointing to see the betrayal of the one person she loved and cherished. I don't see song yoon ah as a villain, she just did what she had to, to protect herself as no one truly protected, and cared for her. Everyone used her and lied to her.Honestly, I thought ji chan wook would be different, that he would protect her. But sadly he was no different from the rest of them.

Song yoon ah used many and killed many but there's one person she never used and that's ji chang wook.

I agree, she still looks the same. And it's been over six years since I last saw KNJ in a drama. I also hope it's ratings will be high.

Honestly if it has romance, it'd be a wish granted cause I'd love to see how their relationship is going to develop from friends/healing partner to lovers despite their age difference. It'd be wonderful to see.
I still remember the umbrella scene in the K2 , and that's the scene I loved the most. The chemistry of JCW and SYA was overwhelming in the K2, and even till now I wished he ended up with her instead of the FFL. I look forward to a more overwhelming and awesome chemistry between KNJ and CEW in the wonderful world!!!

Yes, its not like he's a teenager or underaged. I truly wish for romance to exist between the two. I loved the romance in the glory, it made the show a lot more interesting, and more fun to watch. And I hope wonderful world plot is similar to that of the glory. I'm Excited to see Eun Woo and Nam Joo's wonderful acting.
It's been a while since I last saw KNJ in a drama, so I've got high hopes for this drama, and the recent trailer got me excited😁😄😁..

Yes, you are right. I'm hoping for a hidden romance here cause judging from the trailer they have great chemistry. And I believe many, if not all hope for the same thing.

I agree, love transcends age difference. And I don't know why many people are so against it. So what if they are around Cha Eun Woo's age? Is that a valid reason to be against it? I'm also around the Eun Woo's age but I didn't have the same idea as they do. And why should I be against it? And its not like big noona age difference doesn't exist. In this big world, you'll find couples with bigger age difference. So, being against big noona age difference is unreasonable.

I can't figure out why they are so against it, life is all about finding the right one, and not finding the one with the right age. I wish to see a hidden romance, although it's not in the tag.

Judging from the comments here, it seems many are against this drama having romance, and it's disappointing that their are people with such mindset.

What's wrong with this drama containing romance? What? A man in his fifties can marry a woman in her twenties but a woman can't? If it were the ML that happened to be around the age of KNJ, there would be less complaints. It's infuriating to see comments criticizing large age gap romance, specifically older women/younger men romance.

I'll suggest you continue watching all the way to episode 4 cause this drama is a very interesting, and captivating…
JJS acting is one of the best, and that's why I looked forward to CTK because that was his first historical drama where he portrayed the role of a king, and he delivered as expected.

I started watching MMH two days ago and I'm already on episode 9. It's indeed a wonderful drama, with awesome chemistry between the leads... especially the chemistry between FFL and FML.

I'm convinced he just said it because of his uncle and that's the only logical way cause throughout the whole…
He could banish and dethrone the grand prince without killing him.
Replying to Ziningi Feb 20, 2024
I think he said that for the uncle's sake to stop him from doing anything about it(maybe I trust him too much)
Do you mean abdication? I don't think the king will abdicate cause if he wanted to abdicate the throne, he wouldn't have said he was going to be king till the end of his days. Furthermore, I want to believe that the king remained childless for all those years because he didn't love any of his consorts, and not because he wanted to remain childless to keep a promise. And that one night he had with Hee Soo is the perfect evidence to back up my claims.

im on ep 1 it so boring but at some point will it get good?
I'll suggest you continue watching all the way to episode 4 cause this drama is a very interesting, and captivating one. I'd say it's one of the best kdrama that's airing this year.

Just here to say that I don’t doubt the king and the choices he makes. I’m saying this because what do you…
Are you saying he's going to remain childless because of a promise? well, let's wait and see.
But I agree with you about Mong Woo ruining everything, she has never tried to understand our ML. I just hope it won't be too late for her to stop her silly plans of revenge.

That may be the case but have you ever thought about what could happen the moment Lee In has his own child, a son to be precise. And don't forget, he never mentioned abdicating the throne to his nephew... what he said was that he was gonna be king till the end of his days.

When it comes to Hee Soo, I trust the king but when it comes to power that's a whole different story. He's a King after all, and I don't think he'll ever pass the throne to Munseong when he has a son. Besides, let's not forget that the blood of Lee Soon flows through the veins of the grand prince... and he may turn out to be a worse person than his late father in the future.
Replying to zeroldman Feb 19, 2024
the king is a lion, so he always has to act like a lion in the presence of all of the hyenas that are trying to…
Yes, you are right. The king holds too much power, so it's possible for power to have gone to his head. No matter how much the king may love his nephew, he'll love his son more... so, even if he does that, it's understandable cuz he needs to clear the path to the throne for his child. And you may never know, the seemingly kind Munseong today could turn out to be worse than his late father, as an apple doesn't fall far from its tree. So, to protect his child and to avoid what Lee Soon did to him, the king needs to make sure his child is his successor, and to do that... Munseong has to be stripped of his title.
On Captivating the King Feb 19, 2024
What the king said about banishing and dethroning his nephew when the time is right... was he telling the truth? or did he say those words to convince his uncle? cause I'm a little confused.
On Captivating the King Feb 18, 2024
Even beasts hold a grudge when one of its own is slaughtered like so? Myung Ha's late father wanted to frame and convict Lee In of treason regardless of his innocence. Is that what an upright official does? And he even said even if he spares and forgive him a thousand times? I can assure him, before that his head would be missing from his neck.
