same i thought the confinement was to save her as well .. i think we all feel bad for the king and i've seen many…
Yes, revenge would be meaningless at this point. What was her reasons for revenge? It's because Hee Soo thought she was betrayed, abandoned, and used by the king but it turned out that none of those were true. So, what reasons does she have not to abandon her revenge? There's none. And I believe, the one the king is secretly communicating with is most probably her father.
I knew it! I was right about the king issueing a harsh punishment on the surface but tried to safe her secretly, and episode 9 just confirmed that I was right all along. The king was devastated when he learnt about Mong Woo's death, he just tried not to show it to people to maintain his image of a strong king. It was only Sang Hwa that knew about his pain, and sufferings. With this knowledge, Hee Soo's revenge is baseless.
Furthermore, what's with that one eye subordinate of Hee Soo? Why is he so bent on killing the king when he's yet to kill the real villain that caused the death of Hong Jang?
The King is always acting so tough when he has been crazy about Mongwoo all these years to the extent that when…
When it comes to Mong Woo, the king becomes soft. Lee In cherises her so much, enough to protect her from any danger ... even if that means him offending powerful officials, he wouldn't give a damn.
The kiss scene was just so wonderful. The king promised to grant Hee Soo a wish ... and OMG in that situation, out of all the things she could think of, She chose a kiss? And I'm certain even without that, the king would have allowed it anyway cause his feelings for her runs deep.
I’m actually quite worried about the next two episodes. I think episode 10 will leave us hanging big time 😭because…
Actually, I'm not a fan of football matches but the excitement would have been too much to contain. I think TVING already figured this out, and that's why two more episodes is going to air in a few hours.
I love how the king rushed out of his chamber, leaving court lady Dong there. What I love more about episode 8 is that he disregarded etiquette, and didn't bother to think about how his decision to leave the chamber in search of Mong Woo may backfire. The king really has my respect for that cause it's rare to find someone you are drawn to, and the one you are willing to risk it all for. The last last 5 minutes of episode 8 has me on my toes, and words can't express my joy knowing that two episodes will be released in less than 24 hours. Waiting for another weekend for those two episodes would have been toture. I don't know about others but for me, episode 8 is 10/10 🌟, and this drama also deserves a 10/10 rating.
The king indeed found out about her true gender at a perfect place, and time.
Abdicating the throne regardless with or without an heir? Abdicating without an heir might be possible but even so, there'll be a lot of oppositions not to mention when he has an heir ... it's basically impossible. To tell you the truth, I never wanted Munseong to be named as his successor considering his father's betrayal but now I'm relieved with the possibility of the king having an heir that's his.
Ngl, I felt sooo relieved when he said that to Sang Hwa. I was concerned with how he would react once he founds…
Words can't express how I felt when I heard those words from the king. Now I'm convinced that the king will do whatever it takes to protect his manghyeongjiu. The king is ready to go all in for Mong Woo. Today's episode is gonna be fun!!!
when he was talking to the sky (his brother) and he said no disgrace will save me i think he was telling himself…
Yes, the drizzle gave him confidence ... it was like a sign from the heavens, telling him to follow his heart, and I'm glad he did. I really admire the king for acknowledging his feelings. I'd like to see how Mong Woo is going to react, and the answer she's gonna give the king! Waiting anxiously for today's episode!!!
Did Lee In just confessed his feelings to Mong Woo, whom is presumed of being a man? And to think he did so without stuttering? Honestly, I knew he's got guts but I didn't think it was that much!!!
I love how the romance is playing out in this drama, it's very unique ... but what I love more is the answer the king gave when Sang Hwa asked him this question; What if he habours treacherous intentions? but he said, that's all the more reason to protect him. I never expected the King would give such an answer. It seems Lee In plans on going all out to protect his Mong Woo, at least that's the vibe I'm getting! Whether it's a tragic love story, happy ending, or sad ending? I plan on watching till the very last episode cause CTK always makes my day..
