Even in reality, you need witnesses to pursue a case. Yes, their are witnesses, but all of them are on Seok Ryu's side. So even if he pressed charges, there's zero chance of winning. He might win if it's caught on CCTV, but if not, he'll just be wasting his time and money.

Yes. It's better to ignore the accent aspect. We'll be seeing more of those scenes, and I'm guessing Seok Ryu is going to be their interpreter. So, I think it's better to focus on other aspects of the show, than focusing the accent issue, so as not to ruin a great show.
