In the preview for ep4, I thought that Chris guy was the ex-fiancé. It seems it's not yet time for him to appear.
I thought so too, but it turned out he's just a colleague. Precisely, a trashy colleague. I'm really looking forward to when her ex comes into the picture. It sure is going to be emotional, but at the same time, it's going to be a lot fun.
When Chris asked Seok Ryu to say the word "please" before he considers not reporting Seung Hyo, I really thought she would say it, but she gave an unexpected reply "Please, my ass." Woah, I love that reply, plus the beatings she gave him, that scene really made my day!
I'm not stopping you from watching AYTO, but to be honest, I didn't feel any chemistry between the leads. Most importantly, ZWY failed in comedy. I don't know why, but I felt the pacing was boring. Well, this is just me talking, others are saying positive things about the drama. The ratings started with an 8, and now it's 8.4. Well, it is what it is. As for Mr Bad, did you mention that there was no high school? If that's the case, then I guess, I'll sit it out. I've been searching for something interesting to watch, but I haven't found any, can you recommend some dramas for me? Something that's fast paced, but not too fast.
I really miss those times. I think the longest Cdramas I watched was "Empress of China and The Glory of Tang Dynasty." I loved Empress of China more though. Speaking of The Glory of Tang Dynasty, I think I haven't given this any rating yet, I better rate it. You're right, long dramas and average dramas should have their respective laws. The 40 episodes limit is just not fair. Well, I watch both cdramas and kdramas. I tried Are You The One, but I wasn't impressed, were you?
I agree. The reason he kept on digging for the time capsule is because he wanted to help her find her dream back…
He knew that Seok Ryu was only trying to be strong, but deep inside, she's not that happy, just trying to. The time capsule was meant for her to remember the person she used to be, the cheerful Baek Seok Ryu. Seoung Hyo tactics actually worked, during the last few minutes of episode 3, that time capsule really cheered her up. I just love these two cute friends.
So it’s office bullying and ostracising that FL chooses to quit. It’s not unusual for Asian to face that in…
So it seems. Office bullying has become the norms that Asian face when working overseas. I'm really curious as to why she took a year leave from work back then. This drama is doing extremely well by hiding that from viewers.

Seung Hyo really have creative ways to cheer Seok Ryu😍.
I agree. The reason he kept on digging for the time capsule is because he wanted to help her find her dream back in the days. I just love how romantic the guy is.
In my opinion, their are some laws that needs to be changed when it comes to Chinese censorship. I mean, we could have gotten both seasons of Lost You Forever the same year, but because of those damn laws, we had to wait for a whole year. It just doesn't make sense. 40 episodes, no more no less, I think it's implemented around ending of 2022 cuz "Love Like The Galaxy" is a 2022 drama and its episode is 56. I miss those times. But now, it's 40 episodes.
AOS season 1 had a sad ending, but the filming commenced before the first season ended, and we got a second season in 6 months, just six months. I don't think cdramas can ever beat that. I love how the director didn't make fans wait for years before getting a second season. The second season was just as tentative as the first, but with a very satisfying happy ending. Each character got their moments, I love that about Alchemy of Souls.
You're right. I think that's the best explanation for giving us sad endings. You're also right when you said "humans tend to remember more hardships than happy moments." Well, in my opinion, I tend to remember a drama that has great premise, plus happy endings more than I do those with sad endings. That's why I remember Love and Redemption, Alchemy of Souls, SOKP, etc.
Indeed, "great minds think alike." That's what I've been echoing too. With all the pain and sufferings in this world, what can make up for it a little, even if it's a little, is for dramas to have happy endings. But, this saddist crews won't also let us have that? I really don't understand. What do they get from making watchers sad over sad endings? Are they trying to tell us that in this world, there are only separations, no reunion? I was utterly disappointed at the extra episode of MLCB, that's the main reason I couldn't give it a perfect score.
Hahaha…I keep checking in this page to see whether have I missed anything. Time is indeed slow when we are observing…
Yes, it's because we love this. I keep checking Netflix in hopes that they might just make the mistake of releasing the episodes sooner just like Prime Video did with Marry My Husband. Hahahaha
