I'm loving the drama surely, it's rare for me to describe a drama so, but "The Double" is sure different. The screenwriters and directors did a wonderful job by writing such wonderful story, and the directors also did a great job by directing such wonderful story excellently. The plot is just unique and captivating, its so unique that it'd make you wish all episodes were released, so as to binge it all in a sitting. Except "story of kunning palace", I've never been so immersed with an historical Cdrama that doesn't have a wuxia genre. Its indeed a drama among dramas.
Yes, the ratings started with 8.4 when the first 4 episodes was released, since then it's been climbing in ratings non-stop. It's only a matter of time before it reaches 9.0 or even 9.1. It might just be the highest rated Cdrama of the year. I've never written an episode review before, but wrote one when I completed episode 11. Jiang Li was underestimated being someone that was banished to Zhennyu hall for 10 years, they thought she knew nothing about literary knowledge and music. So, when she first arrived at "The School of Integrity". They thought she knew nothing, one of the two sons of the enemy of Jiang Li's father in the imperial court "Li Jin" made a bet with her, challenging her team to a competition. The bet was that if Jiang Li team wins, he'll become a monk, but if his team win, she'll return to Zhennyu hall. Jiang Li's team comprises of 4 people; Her, Ye Shi Je, Jiang Jun hao, and Liu Xun. Jiang Li accepted the challenge, she accepted it because the team who wins will receive a reward from the emperor personally. She couldn't miss this chance be rewarded and praised by the emperor himself. So, her team starts preparing for the competition.
Furthermore, Ye Shi Je prepared for literary challenge, Jiang Rui Yui prepared for the chess game, Liu Xun practice archery, and Jiang Li is to go up against the best qin player in the whole Great Yan, her half sister who hates her existence "Jiang Ruo Yao". As the competition day for the entry exam drew closer, Jiang Li's team's practice intensifies. Li Jin team were arrogant of getting first place of course as they don't see her team as worth opponents. But there's a setback, Jiang Li injured her wrists when her evil husband buried her alive. You know what pal? So I won't appear too judgy, I'll try goblin probably next month to see if I can be impressed a little. But I'm pretty sure, I'll be disappointed. I also didn't like other gong yoo's drama, I remember I tried watching, coffee prince and big, but couldn't make it pass episode 3 for both. The plot was both boring and draggy. But hye kyo's drama has always been interesting, except "now we're breaking up" that is.

Yes, the killing glares he gives SYR whenever JL is with him is just so.... He sure knows how to be jealous, I also love his jealous scenes. I remember one time when it's raining and SYR covered JL with his clothes, when XH saw it's the clothes of SYR, he took it off with his fan, saying; "Your clothes looks terrible" He didn't even allow her to pick it up, he picked it up for her instead.
