You should definitely give "story of kunning palace" a try, I assure you, its going to be worth every bit of your time. Zhang Lin He and Bai Lu's chemistry was so firing and electrifying. The story was well written, its one of the best drama there is. Yes, you're right, the main leads are all talented, and above all, their expressions in that drama were spot on. Nice to meet you too. While you're at it, you might want to try "a journey to love", that's among my favourite wuxia drama of all time, I loved it through and through. Liu Shi Shi and Liu Yiu Ning nailed it in that drama.
Yes, I just saw it in the trailer. The trailer spiked my excitement!!
Yes, the trailer looks very promising. And I also saw that scene where rain was holding kim ha neul, then the car exploded. It's going to be an interesting scene to behold, wish we'll get that scene when the first two episodes is released.
Not yet, same question people have been asking. I also asked about it, not too long ago.
Same here, I miss them already, wish they're paired together for another project in the future. Their chemistry was electrifying. As for "tang dynasty", I'll try it as long as its a promising drama.
As I was reading through the comments, I chanced upon your comment stating how excited you're and how you can't wait to binge the drama. I also can't wait for July 3 to come, infact, I think this month is ending too slowly, I want to reach July much faster. I'm getting "K2" vibes from "the red swan", but in a different way I guess. Red swan is having a tag of romance, and the romance will be between a top class woman, also a CEO I presume, and her bodyguard who's very skilled in martial arts. Not like "K2" where ji chang wook character fell for lim yoon ah, instead of his boss who loved him so.
I'm going to be really disappointed in "red swan", if it goes against what's written in the synopsis, but I doubt that. I don't care whether the husband is a cheater or not, as long as our main leads end up together, I'll be satisfied. I read the article about how rain highlighted he did most of the action scenes himself. I'm pretty sure the chemistry will be firing here as kim ha neul always has firing chemistry when paired with actor, especially when the actor is younger. I could remember how I loved the chemistry of her and lee do hyun. But as for the older ML, I didn't find their chemistry firing, not even one bit. About your question on the trailer, I haven't watch it yet, but will immediately, I send this reply, since you're describing it so, the trailer must be fun and interesting to behold.
Yes, I love wuxia genre when it comes to historical drama, and jumong had that. Being the first historical kdrama I watched, I loved it as the actions were excellently filmed, and being a 2006 drama, the cinematography was excellent, the quality also. It's initially a 60 episode drama, but as it gained worldwide success and popularity, it's changed to 81 episodes. I remember the first 60 episodes was filmed for more than a year, and the additional 21 took over six months I guess. Song il kook really was great in that drama, han hye jin also did great in her, every actor performed their respective roles excellently. I couldn't find any flaw with the drama. Back to your question about how she looks the same age as the FL, even when there's ten years age gap. He indeed looks as young as the FL, I couldn't believe it at first when I found out about his real age, he's in his 30s and the FL was in her 20s during that time, but they looked the same age. Yes, jumong is indeed one of the greatest hero in Korean history, his achievements were so great. You could tell how interesting the drama is from the ratings itself. There isn't any drama that has 81 episodes plus, the duration is beyond an hour, but it still has such high ratings as 8.4. No drama has achieved that on MDL in the past decade. Jumong is the only 81 episode drama that has the ratings of 8.4, it proves how viewers are satisfied with the show.
You know what pal? About goblin issue, I think I'm going to put behind the idea of rewatching it, cause I also think there's nothing special for me to notice that'll make me start from where I left off. I think, I'll take your idea of finding a more interesting drama, I don't mind if it's a kdrama or cdrama, as long as the plot is captivating enough and the FL is not a weak one, I'm in. Of course, I don't want to be a betrayer of noona romance genre, but I don't just watch noona drama, I'm also into wuxia/xianxia genre, as long as the ML doesn't look his age, I'm in, but I still prefer it when the ML is younger than the FL in real life. If you check my profile, you'll see that most of my highly rated watched dramas, the FL is often older than the ML. I think goblin is too overrated, I also don't like ahjussi romance, such dramas are not too interesting, they're more draggy instead, but I think oppa romance is acceptable as long as the ML doesn't look his age. But as for goblin? It's an ahjussi romance.
I'll definitely tell you if I find hagwon recent episodes as captivating as the previous 8 episodes I watched. By the way pal, should I continue summarizing "The Double"? Are you interested in watching? After all, its a drama you'll like since the FL is older than the ML by more than 11 years age gap, plus, the plot is captivating. So, will you be giving it a try? I plan to give secret garden a try soon, I want to watch it first before I watch sam soon.

Yes, I've watched LLTG and Mr Queen. But I haven't watch the uncanny encounter and Knight Flower. I also laughed a lot while I was watching Mr Queen. I could remember I almost had chest pain from laughing too much.
Are the ML and FL in strange tales of tang dynasty actors that are familiar?

The ending was not just a happy but very detailed. Most Cdramas, especially historical ones, have sad endings, but "story of kunning palace" was different. Wish the double also has a happy ending. I think all the episodes have been released already.
I'd recommend "a journey to love", the FL is intelligent, ruthless, and above all she's a badass one, she also used to be the left emissary of the scarlet guards (an assassin organization).

I mentioned it in the previous comment that I've watched "story of kunning palace" already. I watched it last year November, during the time it aired. You should really try "Marry My Husband" like you suggested, it's an interesting drama, I remember I gave it a 9. I also don't like; Naive, too nice, and less intelligent FL. I'm more into, intelligent, scheming, cunning, badass, and cold female leads. We are quite similar when it comes to that.
I haven't try "story of yanxi palace" yet due to its long episodes. In "story of kunning palace", the ML "Xie Wei" is a lot more ruthless when compared to Xiao Heng.
