You're right, I was expecting the Jiang family to clear JL name and make things clear to the world. But all she got was some apologies, what about her the crime of matricide and fatricide? They didn't bother to clear those crimes to protect the family's reputation. After all that's happen, I was surprised they still cared about their reputation more than they care about doing JL justice.

She was spared because she lost her sanity, and more because of some edict from her sister "consort Li". So what if she's insane? Does being insane wash away her sins? We're talking about 4 lives here, in which JLs mother and the eldest daughter's of the Jiang family lives is involved. No matter what, she should have been given the poisoned wine. Besides, consort Li is but a consort, and no matter how much she's favoured by the emperor, I'm sure he wouldn't support her with meddling in the affairs of the Jiang family.
I hope the wedding between that piece of shit yurong and the female lead gets cancelled cause i cant bear to see…
It won't happen. I could see how furious you're with your choice of words, I'm also fuming with anger, just trying to control it. I can't stand the sight of SYR and Shen family, they disgusts me.
I know this has been asked soooo many times but.. are we still 36 or 40 episodes?
36 episodes? With all that's unfolding with each passing episodes, I don't think 36 episodes will be enough. Besides, 34 has been released already. So, it won't make sense if we only have 36 instead of the original 40.
To be honest so far at least for me this is definitely the highest rated drama across all genres and I feel it…
This is the best Cdrama I've watch this year. Most Cdramas of this year were disappointing. But this one makes me wish the episodes was longer than 40.
I wouldn't call it romantic moments, looks more like forced romance on SYR side to me. Its even more like sexual…
Those two people disgusts me. One time she's gentle when she's with him, and another she treats him as her servants. I'm also not sure how to describe their moments together. Our main couple is the best, their romance is based on mutual feelings, not some obsession. Wish SYR and Wanning's screentime were replaced with SJY and YSJ time together, if SJY didn't leave the drama too soon, they would have been an epic couple.
That is more abuse compared to love. Furthermore XHs and JLs is more mature and that is the main focus in the…
Yes, Wanning already said she liked him during her conversation with JL.
The moment he killed his wife because of his sister and mother, he could no longer step away. When he speaks his mind to Wanning, he's either punished by kneeling down for hours or slapped multiple times. What a bloody romance!
As for their back story of how Wanning fell for him, some of those were shown in episode 32. If you've reached episode 32, you ought to have watched it.
i agree she is crazy but i kind of feel for her somewhere bec she was sacrificed to save the kingdom ig ...that…
The emperor and Duke Su tried to cut some of his wings by sending him less rations for his army. But that move had little effect, hence, they had to ally with Great Zhao in order to ensure absolute victory should king Cheng rebel.
That said, how did king Cheng build such a military? I thought the imperial court was always wary of princes who has massive military lest they rebel someday, but why was Cheng an exception?
It's just sad that JL maid whom she regarded as a friend, confidant, and sister died in the process. That scene was really saddening, I feel sorry for JL, she lost another important person to her in all these madness, yet again.
Of course, she's pretending. She's always been wearing the mask of a kind and pitiful person, it's a good thing JL took off that mask exposing her true face in episode 28.
