He doesn’t want him to develop a relationship with her that could ruin all the plans and schemes that they’ve…
Same here, marrying the late emperor's consort can't be considered as a moral act, it's more like an immoral behavior cause his actions proves, he's been in a relationship with consort Li before the demise of the late emperor. It makes me wonder why he would do such a thing when he always talks about cleaning the Great Yan court. But his consort is also not clean.
XH is as good at what he does because he thinks logically about what is best for country, and puts his own emotions…
The emperor wants XH to sacrifice JL if needed? What about him? Is he ready to sacrificed his beloved consort, "consort Li"? I don't think so. It's a good thing that XH is not some cold blooded person without emotion, he knows what he wants and how he feels about JL. Furthermore, I think the emperor just want a robot like ally/friend, without emotions and feelings, a person who puts the nation above all, cause that's the only way he thinks their great plan can succeed.
I also think that the emperor might be considering putting her life in danger if needed.
Yes, it's like he regards her as nothing but a "pawn". It's even more like he doesn't consider her as human being, just some pawn to achieve his plans. Just because he thinks that way, he also wants Xiao Heng to have the same thoughts? He should just dream on!!
I also think that the emperor might be considering putting her life in danger if needed.
Mee too, I think all the emperor cares about is his great plans, he doesn't care who is sacrificed to achieve it. It's more like "sacrificing a few hundred to save hundreds of thousands", don't you agree?
I also think that the emperor might be considering putting her life in danger if needed.
Mee too, I think he doesn't care about her life, all he cares about is achieving his great plans and defeating Wanning and her brother. It's more like "sacrificing a hundred to save ten thousands".
He doesn’t want him to develop a relationship with her that could ruin all the plans and schemes that they’ve…
What does he mean? Doesn't he also have a close relationship with "consort Li"? Too close I guess, but isn't she also the sister of JSR who killed the wife of the secteriat director, so she could be his wife? Great plans? Just because of their great plans and schemes, Duke Xu shouldn't have emotions?
What did emperor Hong mean when he said this to Duke Su; Are you getting your emotions involved." Will the emperor be against their relationship? I need some spoilers before proceeding to episode 30&31.
When Tong died, it's really sad. JSR deserved death, not guide some temple!! And there's the eldest princess, she needs to get what's coming to her, for her to stop her viciousness.
I just couldn't make it pass episode 4, I even tried to watch episode 5, but couldn't. I always dose off whenever I watch "moving", it took me 3 days to complete 4 episodes before dropping it.
A combination of everything, tbh. Amazing acting can save a weak plot. Or an amazing story can make up for so-so…
I guessed so, I haven't watch any drama of the main leads yet, but reading the negative reviews dissuaded me from watching this drama. Or do you think I should give it a try?
