Fan freakout: I just realized that the man playing Director Zou is the same guy Lin Peng who was with Wang Hedi…
No wonder the actor looked familiar!

I've been wondering, is Nangong Qian Rou supposed to be a female in male disguise or is he/she actually a male…
In the novel it's a man who is as beautiful as a woman, so he is often mistaken for a woman and it pisses him off. In the drama this character is woman.

I don't know what is this drama about. Already watching ep.29 and it is a miscellaneous collection of multiverse,…
Surely, everything will be connected.

So true! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂A show with a certain over-hyped idol is currently getting absolutely shredded…
You are blaming the wrong side. Dafeng's rating has been affected by the same means as your drama's today. Unaired episodes are rated very low. The other drama has the opposite trend. It's very easy to check. Please, be more careful pointing fingers.

I really liked this in the starting, so i searched for the novel , then i found the comic of it "Nightwatcher"…
Well, the battle in the book was quite epic. But I think they would have needed to show the whole investigation to lead the viewers there. Personally, I think that case was a bit boring although the battle was indeed spectacular. They would have needed more screen time and probably money. On the other hand, the arm entering his body is shown much better in the drama than in the novel.

Have you seen Only for Love?
Yes. And hated the director and cameramen. So short and from weird angles except for the last episodes. We've all seen leaked bts videos and know what was never shown in the drama.

So many things happen! And the kissing scene was so beautiful. Thank you the director! All Dylan's kissing scenes after Love between Fairy and Devil were either cut out or cut so short 😭

My thoughts exactly. I don't know if this follows a novel, but i don't understand how his character is so resigned…
When in prison he tried to figure sth out. Maybe parallel worlds, etc. But he doesn't understand how he ended up there. How is he supposed to try to get back? What clues does he have?

I actually disagree with the content of the article. It's the part about adjusting quickly to the world of Dafeng. Anyone who watches the drama knows that the main character spends quite some time trying to find ways how to survive in this world. Shall I become an inventor or writer? And stuff like that. His initial aim is not to solve cases, but to make money for a peaceful life. He just happens to be good at solving crimes. He starts as an official at yamen. Also, the main character is in a different person's body but has the memory of the original owner. It's mentioned in the drama and in the novel. People just need to watch a bit more attentively. Dafeng is a world where there are various tribes and creatures. They are gradually introduced in the story. Some characters appear and vanish just to reappear later and play their part in the main story. Some viewers are just impatient. They need to be told in episode 1 This is that kind of character, their aim is the following. This character is a villain. And this character is the main love interest. Where is the intrigue or excitement? I adore the drama. I know for sure that it won't crash in the second half. Things will get more intense! So happy watching to all of us.

Fun facts for those who watched Meteor Garden and Love Between Fairy and Devil: I’ve just randomly discovered…
These actors are from the same agency. The actor who plays Silver Gong Li Yu Chun is also from the same agency. They've worked together in Rational life, Unchained love and I think Never give up. I might be wrong, he is DiDi's business partner as well.

I look forward to each episode. It's so easy to watch that you don't even notice the time. I adore how boastful Xu Qi An is! It's so not "heroic" like, but so funny. And the best part is when his schemes to outsmart his bosses fail miserably 😂 In episode 14 we finally see the arm! It's going to be so cool. I hope the CGI will be good. Cannot wait for the continuation.

To be honest, the princess is probably the least interesting female character for me in the novel, but the male lead does like her more than other girls from his "harem". It happens gradually. He likes her kindness and sincerity although he also quite likes the fact that she is "stupid" :) As for the drama, Princess Lin An is annoying and silly (as she should be). But I don't find her as annoying as she was in the novel. I'm sure she'll change and more viewers will like her.

and after ep12, I can wait and watch this series when it's finished. I don't find it appealing enough to wait…
Actually, not a lot of things have been altered in comparison with the novel. The female lead has more presence than in the novel, which is understandable. As for the rest, they follow the story. The story is about the main lead going from a layman to one of the greatest fighters and a real hero (a superhero, actually). Things that happen now are necessary for his growth. Dots will be connected, but so far it should look like that.

Why have such high standards for a simple romcom? It has its own pace and the outcome is well-known. Its attraction lies in its light-hearted tone, humour and the cuteness of the relationships. The main characters get to know each other, fall for each other and only then will they proceed to sth more intimate. That might be old-fashioned for some. But what's so bad about it? It's not a masterpiece in terms of plot, but it has never promised to be one. As the actors said it's sth you can watch in the evening, smile a bit and relax, which I do with pleasure. The premise of the story is that of an old Italian film "Ill-tempered man tamed". So the female lead tries to tame the male lead but in an awkward way, hence humour. He likes her too although he is too proud to show it early on. Will she succeed? Of course, she will . And that's what is worth looking forward to.

I'm watching it with great pleasure despite the not very good subtitles. I really like all the characters so far. They are all so different and feel realistic. The actors are very good and believable. It's a story about war and how it affects different people's lives. It stresses the importance of education and that heros are born not only on the battlefield. We learn it together with Cheng Jia Shu and through his eyes. What I really appreciate about this drama is that he isn't portrayed as an invincible hero. He's just an ordinary guy who suddenly finds himself amidst this turmoil. But he's changing, becoming more mature. Yet he is still mischievous at times and SO charming. Wang He Di is a very good actor. I just love his acting. And yes, he looks so handsome here. As for the other actors, they are very good as well. For example, Zhou Ye. I haven't seen any of her dramas, but I enjoy her performance. Well done. I'm looking forward to the upcoming episodes.
