I find lee min ho's acting a bit stiff in other dramas.. how is he in this one? and how's the acting of the drama…
I've seen some dramas from him in the past, never liked any of them that much cause I found his acting flat and his characters (which feel the same in all of them) pretty unlikeable. He acts similar in this drama, but somehow his character I found likeable this time. Besides his acting kinda fits with the character. Idk maybe he improved. The acting/casting overall is good, though I don't think KGE is all that great (unpopular opinion).
- I still don't understand how is he so into her, like what's the reason behind those feelings?- I wasn't hating…
Yes, that would make sense but I thought he didn't believe she was his savior anymore. He said something like "my savior is related to you somehow" in one of the past episodes but I might have misunderstood something.
I agree, stalking is not romantic... I think they ship him or want him to get the girl cause they find him pitiful…
Yeah, agree, JKY makes the character quite interesting. Also, not fond of teacher/student relationships either, but the creepy vibe I think it could be that the writer is trying to mislead us...
Mmm...I really enjoyed the beginning of the show, it was cute and relaxing to watch, but then the last 4 episodes…
Besides I don't know how much of a happy ending it is. Since we don't know how much time Hong Jo will have as a human this time around. And the fast aging is still an issue. I guess it's an open ending, I'll interpret it as if he came back as a human for good and all of those issues are solved *living in my own little bubble*
Mmm...I really enjoyed the beginning of the show, it was cute and relaxing to watch, but then the last 4 episodes dragged and focused on unnecessary drama. Had the ending been sad I would rate it much lower but since it wasn't I'd say it's a decent drama, enjoyable and cute for the most part. Not that sad endings are bad, I just think that for this particular show it wouldn't be fitting. Still not a 10/10 ending whatsoever.
Ye Eun did a good job, L was a little lacking imo and Ji Hoon was okay, I like his acting but this role wasn't one that would allow him to show his skills. On that matter, I never shipped Jae Sun with Seol Ah, I just don't think there was chemistry between the characters and their relationship was supposed to be deep (they told us) but they never really show that.
I would have liked more interactions and backstory on the friendship between Doo Shik, Seol Ah and Jae Sun. Everybody talks about Hong Jo and Jae Sun, and yeah they were cute but... wasn't he supposed to be super close friends with Doo Shik? I would have liked them to show it more, that way his ending wouldn't be that sad. He waited for Seol Ah expecting her to move on but he waited in vain, he lost his father and his relationship with the other characters wasn't shown much (at all) so it feels as if he ended up completely alone.
I skip some of the dialogue/momologue or else I would go nuts. Skipping through, I feel a little better about…
If MDL is correctly updated I think this is the writers first drama... so I guess she's still a little .... undeveloped? Idk... at least she made up an interesting premise...though the execution I agree not the best
I skimmed through some comment and I love how most of them are about "who gets the girl". Like, are we watching…
I agree, stalking is not romantic... I think they ship him or want him to get the girl cause they find him pitiful not necessarily because they find his actions romantic... i hope.
Anyway, he's not Ji Chul, he is Jong Bum, I believe one shouldn't pay for what he did in his past life, he's a different person now (one that could be bad too but we'll see). And even if he does look suspicious in the present storyline, nothing has been set in stone yet, for all we know he is still innocent in this life.
He might end up being psychopathic but psychopathy doesn't equal criminal, that's an stigma that's been perpetuated by film and TV but it isn't true. So imo I don't see a problem with shipping Jong Bum and the girl. Not that I personally do or will in a future, I'm still waiting to see the story unfold :)
True... But we don't know what's the nature of his relationship with his fiance or the reason he's engaged or…
"He might be cheating on his present day fiancee" Lol why do you assume he is cheating? There has not been any indication whatsoever that that's the case... I don't know what will happen in future episodes, he might turn out to be a shitty character but it seems like you're biased against the character to begin with...
I don't really like beards, especially in asian men... they're not a deal breaker but I rather clean shaved faces. Felt a little bad for Jo Byung Kyoo though, he seems to struggle because of the waxing hahaha Anyway, if properly groomed, some of them look sexier with a beard, ngl
True... But we don't know what's the nature of his relationship with his fiance or the reason he's engaged or…
"He's either already two timing..." Is what you said. I didn't jump to conclusions. I still don't get your point hahaha I think you're pressed cause you want her to end up with the other lead, which is fine, you do you lol Maybe I misunderstand what you are trying to say, anyway, peace
True... But we don't know what's the nature of his relationship with his fiance or the reason he's engaged or…
How is he two timing? He doesn't have a relationship with the female lead in the present storyline. We know he'll like her in the future and maybe he'll two time but we don't know that yet... There's nothing wrong about having a sexually active relationship with your fiance. It's not like he is cheating on the female lead... he has no memories of their past life.
NJH is a good actor. He has already won a few awards. Jo In Sung praised Joo Hyuk for his acting talent. JIS added…
Who paid him to say that? Anyone with eyes would know that NJH doesn't know how to act lol Jk, I mean I really don't think he is a good actor, but everyone likes who they like...
"This drama is about a young woman going through a rough breakup with a longtime boyfriend she’s still in love with, and a young man who’s a serial dater and kind of tired of relationships" I'm sorry, I love Song Seung Heon, and he looks great, but is he supposed to be this "young man"? hahahaha
For a show that is about a cat falling in love with a human, it's funny how serious it's taking itself. I believe…
Yes, that's exactly it, it takes itself way to seriously. The drama was good and enjoyable while it went the rom-com route...but the melodrama keeps getting worse and more present hahaha
I think this would have worked out better as a miniseries, the las 3 episodes have lost its spark and all the…
And the end of episode 11 (21-22) is literally the same ending from the previous episode with Hong Jo not being able to turn into human, same cliffhanger in two episodes in a row... If that's not a sign of writers dragging the plot because of the drama being too long for the story...
I think this would have worked out better as a miniseries, the las 3 episodes have lost its spark and all the melodrama plotlines feel unnecessary and repetitive. They should have gone the Rom-Com route and kept it like that...
He acts similar in this drama, but somehow his character I found likeable this time. Besides his acting kinda fits with the character. Idk maybe he improved.
The acting/casting overall is good, though I don't think KGE is all that great (unpopular opinion).
Anyway I'm starting to feel a little chemistry between the characters so I'm not complaining :)
Also, not fond of teacher/student relationships either, but the creepy vibe I think it could be that the writer is trying to mislead us...
