I haven't seen Outlander, besides the first season, but for the main cast I like your choices except Claire's, just personal preference. It's true she kinda gives Claire vibes in those pictures though, I just don't feel like she matches with Yoo Ah In.

While I loooove Choi Jin Hyuk, I feel like he gives more mature vibes than what Jamie does... doesn't he? Idk, anyway I wouldn't be mad to see him in the lead of a romance drama again...^^

I've lived in Korea (have you? lol), so I know seniority is important there but that doesn't make it valid, still a load of bullshit... Korean society, like all societies, has a lot of flaws, and seniority is one of them. I'm all for respecting elders and seniors but do some critical thinking of your own: being older, having been longer in a profession, doesn't make you better at anything or give you any extra rights...

Also, I never claimed your feelings aren't a fact. I said mine were a fact cause people jump to the conclusion that I was hating on the actress when I was just expressing my opinion and feelings, which is what this website is made for.

My life doesn't revolve around dramas and actors. But you clearly got hurt by an opinion given you responded very defensively to both my initial and second post, while I haven't.

Well... I probably won't watch but I might give it a chance depending on initial reactions as I said in a previous comment, and if after checking it out I don't like it I will comment on how bad it is, if that's my opinion, since that's what this website is for... It is as simple as that.

Well, I don't like her acting and my opinion is not exactly unpopular. I'm not saying she is lucky to be cast with him lol but I much rather a drama with two unknown leads that actually know how to act. My opinion anyway...

PS: Popular doesn't mean talented, there's plenty of examples of popular actors who aren't talented.

That's interesting. Are you studying film or TV? Or just really into dramas?
I used to study film as a minor but I don't have much time and I watch dramas more as an escape so I don't really analyze them, I like it or I don't hahaha but I think it's cool you feel so passionate about them.
I had low expectations going in so at first I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it but I've lost interest in the last episodes. Anyway I still have enough to keep watching, not right after the episode comes out though, haven't watched saturday's episode yet.

Yes, I guess I misunderstood your criticism. No problem though :). I agree there's a fine line between a good mystery and bad confusing mess. And I don't defend the choices made by the director/editor either. I feel there's better ways they could have expressed a non linear narrative. As I said I'm not a big fan of the format/editing either.

I'm curious though, you seemed to have put a lot of effort by rearranging the soundscape of scenes and redacting an analysis file and everything, but by your comments I see you don't like the show very much. I could't bring myself to do that even for shows I love.

About the Shin Jae's mom thing:
There's two characters for Shin Jae's mom, he was originally from Kingdom, his Republic self got sick and presumably died and then he got swapped. So he has his biological mother on Kingdom and the mother who raised him after the swap in Republic (the one with gambling problems). So the one I remember going to the bookstore and crying at a picture of Shin Jae is his biological mother, therefore the Kingdom one.

Ugh!!! The romance is unbearable LOL I watch their scenes 2x speed.

The product placement.... no comment, though episode 8 was worse.

At this point I'm just watching for Shin Jae and a little for Lim's plot though both storylines progress so damn slooooow!!

Don't kill me please but the comedy in Woo Do Hwan's scenes with his two characters feels a little forced to me. Comedy in the first episodes was better in my opinion. And both characters are flat imo.

Also LMH acting is worsening each episode. First episodes with a more lighthearted feel were not bad since he fits this "king" persona that acts kinda goofy sometimes fits him, but any scene that requires any emotional depth is a total loss... emoting is def not his thing.

Now that the criticism is more elaborated I understand it and appreciate it better.

Regarding Shin Jae's mother going into the bookstore, wasn't it his biological mother who did? so technically the bookstore was the Kingdom one.

Not knowing where the bookstore is located and who's the kid or which universe we're on is definitely intentional. It's apparent that they are going with these kinda non linear storytelling but I'm not saying they're executing it too well cause they're not. I do feel like the show is excessively confusing, but so far I'm still able to follow and don't see any major potholes, more like crappy editing.

It's obviously in the Kingdom side. The prince visited it and Lim visited everytime that he crossed over to the Kingdom. Besides it is where Lim gets the information about the king's movements, wouldn't make sense for it to be on the Republic. And his "helper" is injured cause it is the one that participated in the assassination and got shot by LMH's savior.

I didn't find this confusing at all. I agree that the show is confusing and most if of the criticism is deserved but only when justified. If you watched more than once and saw analysis and still you didn't get such a simple detail of the plot maybe you're just not paying attention at all, so please don't blame it on the show.

I don't care if people criticize it cause I'll be the first one to do so though. Just saying that when you do, use valid points, if not people will think it's senseless hating.

The romance... one minute of silence...
I was one of those who thought there was potential. The characters personalities and dynamics seemed different from other dramas I've seen so it could have been refreshing. Cold female lead + eccentric male lead sounded good. Granted they didn't have magnetic chemistry to begin with but, with good development and writing, it could have been something....
And now we have this... mess.
I don't believe her love for one second and I can't get into it no matter how much I suspend my disbelief... Any chance she ends up with Shin Jae? No? Oh well...

Wow... Shin Jae is really carrying the whole show! I'm glad he's finally up to date cause that hopefully means he is going to get more screen time.
I'm not a sucker for action scenes but Shin Jae's and Young's fight scene was very enjoyable... 10/10

IMO... episode 7 was VERY boring. Episode 8 was good, it picked up, especially the second part and made me interested again. However, it also had very bad parts: that awful "I love you" scene ಠ_ಠ that I'm choosing to ignore (How to kill any possibility at a good romance in one easy step), and the product placement guys!! I was shocked how blatant it was LOL I've seen product placement before in dramas but this was on another level...subtlety? I don' know her... It was like 3 or 4 times in a row!!

Also FL is getting annoying too, the things she says....
She is supposed to be an idealist and positive person but it's become too extreme. I think it makes her look a little dumb, stubborn and immature.
She is becoming very similar to her past self, and I though Ha Eun was very unlikeable.
