it's another love traingle kdrama. the one with the bigger hand wins
Ah haha okay, I've been following through social media and it doesn't seem like I would like it so I'll probably never know but I guess the FL likes the ML big hands lol
Because some viewers feel that they are too long? I don't care much since I'm used to it with the Chinese dramas…
I honestly have tried with historical chinese dramas and I find them to be too long, I don't care about the number of episodes if story allows and the pace is well executed, but I find chinese historicals to be repetitive and slow. I guess it's just a me thing, too bad cause some of them have really appealing plots. So I'm not mad at the 30 ep law but I find it so unfair to cut down dramas that started recording prior to that.
With that said, Korean dramas, though usually having 16 episode, tend to have awful pace... They never learn!!!
Will this be more on the fusion Sageuk side or more in the political palace intrigue side? Sadly I have no patience for too much palace politics but I like how the romance plot sounds tho
they actually allow jugyung & seo jun to date. i HATE how these dramas act like the female leads can only ever…
Jealousy Incarnate and I need romance 2 kinda break that mold... I think... maybe not given how they both end but at least they deviate from the norm.
I agree completely, I don't necessary like that the mains date other people but I'm tired of seeing how in "love triangles" the female lead never even thinks about the 2nd lead, then is not a ducking love triangle!! dammit!! I also get the feeling that it would be looked down upon if the female has feelings for another man while the opposite happens in dramas quite often and is normalized, like she would look not loyal / pure enough (?), idk but that double standard irks me!
Am I the only one who's here without reading the webtoon?ig yea lol
Me neither, I was planning on maybe checking it out beforehand but reading some comments it looks like it isn't necessarily a faithful adaptation so it's more like two separate things...
I don't mind they based these dramas from webtoon stories they might be bad but they are popular for a reason…
When you say "same team" what do you mean? They only have the same director right? I thought "same team" is when the screenwriter and director team up for multiple dramas...
I loved Extraordinary you (though it wasn't perfect) but it's been a while since I've found a drama like that so hopefully this one has the same vibes ^^ I also like The king in love (same director) though that's a very unpopular opinion and I understand why hahaha
i just hope this show does not follow the webtoon interely because gosh, i hate the original story. Also, the…
Could you tell me what it is that's so wrong with the original story (webtoon) without too many spoilers (I don't mind slight ones)?? I was planning on reading it before watching this but now I'm not sure and I don't want to pointlessly waste my time ^.^
I've been planning on getting into Manhwas for a while (in general graphic stories) sooo... Do you guys think I should read the webtoon first or do you think this adaptation will be better?
I've read some comments that said that the original webtoon is not that good and I don't want to spoil the story for myself if it's not worth it.
How is the romance / couple dynamic in this? Is the female lead annoying and naive or is she strong? Does the ML play with her or does he really love her?
Trying to decide if I'll watch it or not, I don't mind spoilers, so please let me know :)
Glad you say the word "disappointing" coz I also feel that after knowing who's the actor to work with her. He…
I don't like or dislike her, much less hate her, I just think she's a bad actress, and as I said before, it's not really an unpopular opinion.
I don't know what you think I turned upside down ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, you're clearly the one who got offended by an opinion, so if one of us looks bitter with life, that's you.
And I'll stop defending myself when you stop attacking me for an opinion jeez... But anyway I'll stop answering you now, because you clearly aren't a rational and mature enough person and I don't want to fill this comment section with negativity. Enjoy the show, bye :)
I tried to watch this franchise: the Korean and the Taiwanese versions, and only Ep 1 for each I felt bored already.…
I personally think the Taiwanese one is the best one, but I can see it's dated and kind of slow so... I would try a couple episodes more if you're ever in the mood. The main difference for me between this one and the original is the personality of the mains, it's kinda different though the plot development is almost exactly the same. If you feel like you'll enjoy this one better go ahead!
The Korean one is a bad remake, as its own drama is okay, I guess, but not the same vibes at all. The Chinese one was simply very meh. This one is the best remake for sure!
Also, I wouldn't say this is office romance, more like friends to lovers. Or maybe my definition for office romance is wrong hahaha
I don't think any version's ML can top Chen Bolin as Li Da Ren in my heart, but I'm always up for checking out…
Same, but I would say Ishida Ren is quite cute too! They have different personalities, but the FL too so it is fitting. To me this is the best remake of ITWY I've seen and I've watched them all ^^

PS: Just realized it is a Sageuk...not my thing at all, too bad, but at least it is a start, it will bring more lead offers hopefully!
