I'm not saying the situation was ideal, and it is fair of him to feel anxious about it or worried... it's only natural. That doesn't mean there isn't a better way to go about it than the way he chose, which some people can find controlling.
Yeah I never claimed he's toxic, I personally wouldn't put True Beauty on this list. Just wanted to talk a little about Suho since I couldn't back then when I was watching it, sometimes the comment sections of some dramas can be a bit of an echo chamber and dissenting opinions get drowned.
And I agree, I was holding on the hope that we got better character development for the female lead until the end but sadly it didn't happen. Too naïve , childish and insecure for my taste.
About the last episode. Idk for me the 2 to 3 last episodes really lowered my overall enjoyment of the show.

I also don't think Suho was toxic... but he was controlling when it comes to the SML, it doesn't matter if he knows he likes her, he should trust his girlfriend... but, on the other hand, this was his first relationship so it is understandable that he didn't know how to react properly to this kind of situation...
The one thing that I really disliked about Suho is that he would always make choices on his own... more than once.... and then his apologies about it were insufficient like the whole issue in the locker room and obviously the whole going to US deal... I shipped them but those really rubbed me the wrong way... especially when he came back in the last episode and acted all smug... I really disliked the last episode...
Imagine if it went off on multiple people that you liked. There’d be some serious relationship problems there.…

Have you seen her in "Just between lovers"? She was great there, and very likeable... but I get what you mean, I'm still on the first episodes but although her character isn't unlikable she just doesn't grow on me... idk maybe it is the writers fault?

Just watched the first episode... idk but I found it quite boring... I don't usually watch overcomplicated or twisty dramas, I'm more of a Rom Com person so it should be right up my alley but I don't feel like watching more episodes... I'll give it until the fourth or so tho... who knows... I might end up loving it
