I usually have an issue with older ML with much younger FL, because of my own personal traumas, but this one doesn't hit any of my triggers. I think it's because he doesn't LOOK like a pedophile (not saying there is a look to them, but it is). It's usually the older, wider, heavier, greyer men that give me the ick. Now I will say he is funny looking to me, but not creepy. His temperament suits her acting if that makes sense. Sometimes you need an older actor to balance out a newer, younger actor. The story was written quite crappily to begin with, so I think everyone involved did the best they could with what they were given.
This is the second drama he's been in that 've watched where he seems quite comfortable with the steamy scenes. Secrets of the Shadow Sect may have been a bit more risqué, but man!! See, can't...stop....watching!! 🤣
This has to be one of the worst mini dramas I've watched this year, lol. It is so bad, but I can't stop watching it. The acting is terrible, the production, camera work and editing is so low budget. Yet, I can not seem to let it go. SMH. My two biggest complaints is the fact that they made the male lead look useless and the female leads acting is appalling, but again since the other two dramas I watched ended, this sorta fills the space until another good one comes along.
Favorite lead couple in quite a while. Glad it ended well, including the passing of the emperor and all the men getting to come back home. Every couple was adorable. Sorry to see this one end.
This drama better be going somewhere soon, because I'm tired of EVERYBODY in this drama including spoiled ass Bom (sorry, not sorry). I'm tired of the FL trying to be captain save a hoe, fallen into all of YJ's traps. I'm tired of the ML and his selfish self. I'm tired of the ML's mother and father. I'm tired of crazy ass YJ. Like the only one that I can halfway stomach is DJW. I haven't been this angered by a drama in a long time. So glad it's almost over, they better end this with some kind of resolution that makes sense. This is one of those dramas where I wouldn't be mad if everybody dies or goes to jail or something. IJS!
Is it wrong that I really do not like the FL mother? I get it, but I do not like her and I feel sorry for anyone who has a mother like that. She is unreasonably stubborn and always causing problems. I hope she gets better by the end of this drama.
Such a good episode. I could still do without Fudong's story but I know it played a part in the progression of the Hua families businesses. And may I just add, the way the ML fights is exhilarating. His punches are quite swift and powerful. The choreography for the fight scenes is top tier. I'm glad we still a little ways to go. Not ready for it to be over. This one ep a day sucks though. And how they just gone leave the baby under the table? 🤣
1. I think you're mistaken for her 'split personality' as her younger and current self. 2. When she said "yes"…
I am well aware that she did not have a split personality, it was sarcasm as she looks like she has a split personality or is possessed.
I did FF through a lot of the foolishness so I may have missed her time traveling again, because I was like WHAT? right along with her and then my heart broke for SJ when he heard it.
First off, this drama is quite cringy. I have a hard time watching dramas when the characters yell all the time…
I used to swim. Do you know how we learned to dive? We got pushed off the diving board. Ready or not you were going in. You learn how to hit the water without getting hurt. Like I said, unless he got knocked out first that is unbelievable TO ME. Quarrel amongst yourselves, that's MY opinion. I'm allowed to have one.
First off, this drama is quite cringy. I have a hard time watching dramas when the characters yell all the time and are overly aggressive for seemingly no reason like FL mom and her, because it's not funny. I'm trying to get past that because the drama is not half bad besides that and the split personality when she time travels?
Second, How did she even say yes to KTS when she was still adult Im Sol? She hadn't time traveled yet. Somebody make that make sense.
Third, he was a swimmer, how do you make a swimmer die from drowning. Unless you knock them over the head and then throw them in or if you physically get in and hold them down. Make that make sense.
I'm watching because the ML is gorgeous and the FL while loud and mostly annoying is very pretty and they look nice together and the plot intrigues me. I was wondering why she yelled at him like she didn't know him when she was in the hospital, but now it makes sense. Now the who done it part. Was it the girl that likes TKS or was is SJ's swimming rival or someone totally different? Glad it's not a super long drama so they can't drag it out for 30 episodes, lol.
This is where the writers lose me, because we know that GYX is going to distance himself from her to "protect" her even though she already said she'd go to hell and back with him (so to speak). I get it though, as a man he should try to keep her out of danger, but the way they go about it is really irritating. Let's see if they do that in this drama where he'll say some really mean shyt to hurt her feelings and make her walk away from him. I'm hoping not since they communicate so well, but we know the writers of these dramas can't be original in the "drama" that actually takes place in the drama, lol. After such a sweet moment when he gets to hear her heart as she confesses her feelings for him to her uncle, we come back to the capital for some BS. Some predictable BS at that. I'm sure we all knew who the villain was and I'm upset that they are trying to use the 6th prince as a scapegoat. I knew after the prince helped GYX with the divorce he was about to do something to GYX because he more or less refused to "help" the prince. Way too many episodes left so they had to add Fudong's story. Unnecessary filler if you ask me. It was more annoying than anything else. How can you...well I know how, but if she hasn't learned anything else from HZ, it should be to get a backbone and stand up for herself, but that's what happens. When people that never had to be strong follow a strong person, (I don't want to call her weak because she has some strengths of her own), but when people are not strong enough they usually tend to let the strong ones do all the fighting for them so they never have to get stronger.
What else? Not looking forward to the separation of the two leads, but definitely can't wait to see how they get through it. Shao Yao is such a pure soul. LYX is playing her so well. Her smile is absolutely beautiful. They paired her well with SH. Together they are so sweet.
It cracks me up how the "bad boys" of these dramas can't even fight well. What in the world? This is the second drama I'm watching where the "bad boy" that's trying to get revenge keeps getting his butt kicked. Please go and have 2 seats please. Your passion for revenge is commendable, but let's not keep getting beat up. This is still not making any sense. I get that's NMY's father but is it really HYJ's father? Did he have an affair or did he just abandon her and have a whole other life? What in the world? As short as this drama is, it's taking too long. Too many variables now. Who is Bom? Are NMY and HYJ sisters? Like what? Until next weekend I guess.
Don't know how I feel about this one yet. The way they write the FL these days annoys my soul. The attempt to make more strong female lead characters is laughable. It just makes them look ridiculous. Especially in the beginning and then when they "fall in love" they become "normal". The way they write these FL isn't even funny or cute. I'll have to watch the next 2 episodes before I decide whether I'll drop this one or not. I hope it gets better.
Are we just gonna keep forgetting about the baby? What in the world? I know he doesn't know yet. Is it even still alive? Does she remember? 10 episodes left. I hope they don't cram a bunch of stuff into the last episodes.
