imo, this is just the right amount of slow burn, which makes sense with the plot progression as well.Any how,…
Slow burns are good, love them, but when the leads have this kind of chemistry it's hard not to want them to move a little faster. Idc when the leads have no chemistry, when their interactions are awkward or forced, but these two look amazing together and work well together. The leads relationship in this drama reminds me of the relationship the leads had in Blossoms in Adversity. Understanding and well matched. I can't wait!!
I can not stand the FL facial expressions. I think this is the only character she's played that I do not like. Being indifferent because it's not your life and you really want to go home, but man! Acting foolishly is a different story. Hopefully she'll start to grow on me. We have quite a few episodes to go.
VG is one of the best vampires I’ve seen in a while. I love him and the FL’s chemistry. She was already a beautiful young lady, with those contacts she looks ethereal. Like a fae fairy or a royal elf. Besides LYL, I’m enjoying this drama immensely. Especially when SZH shows his fangs. 🥰
Vengo Gao looks good in a suit and in robes. All around handsome, whether it’s xianxia wuxia modern or historic. He is gorgeous for his age. Does anyone else think they’re trying to make us believe that WeiLlian is his little brother? Or is it just me or is he the little brother?
Is it just me or are a lot of these mini dramas a lot spicier than the major ones? Man! AND! The FL was in the last one I watched; Sectrets of the Shadow Sect. She's good in these and the fact that she's beautiful and gets to play opposite some really handsome ML just adds to the appeal of these mini dramas.
this is the dumbest plot with all the unsavory, unnecessary tropes. it started out good and then went to crap and the closer we get to the end, the more it smells like crap.. i HATE self-sacrificing tropes. They are so overdone and are never for the sound reasons. i knew she was going to say she’d marry prince dosung, but at what expense? everyone will still be miserable. the cp will have to watch her be married to his brother who doesn’t even consider him a brother anymore and she’ll never be happy becuz she loves the cp. possibly continuing the family curse by having an affair with the cp while married to pd. it’s all really dumb. i can’t wait to see how it ends. glad it’s almost over.
I dislike the plots where one lead thinks they are doing something to make it better/ easier for the other lead. The unwarranted, unfounded break-ups, the mean words to make them walk away, the self sacrifice.... It bothers me. It always makes it worse and everyone is miserable in the meantime. My opinion. I just dislike those type of plots. I'll watch them, obviously, but I don't like them.
He is absolutely gorgeous. Hated the plot, stayed for the visuals. I have a love hate relationship with this drama. Glad it’s over, hate to see it end. I know, makes no sense, right? Can’t wait to see what dramas the leads go on to do.
This drama is dragging for me. Episode 6 and I just feel tired. There are some break out moments that are ok, but the plot is the same as most palace dramas. Think I'm going to let this one go. Having to wait a week for 2 episodes of this isn't worth it TO ME.
I won't say I'm obsessed with this drama, but BABY!! Byeon Woo Seok is sexy ass hell! Especially his lips, lol. Ok, enough of that. I like this drama because it really makes you think if you had the opportunity to go back and "fix" some stuff in your past, would you? If you didn't know if the outcome would be better or worse would you? Are the regrets you currently have in life really bad enough for you to go back in time to change stuff? What Lee Hyun Joo said in the hospital made so much sense. I just hope that people can grasp that concept and hold on to it. The things we regret are not all that serious if we learned from it and survived. Some things were meant to turn out the way they turned out. Im Sol didn't necessarily stop stuff from happening, things are still happening just not the same way. So, is it worth it?
So, now I have questions. There was a scene in the drama where we saw the ex from high school in the parking lot of what looked like Im Sol's building. What was that about? And if the guy who originally tried to kill her tried to kill Seon Jae after getting out of Jail in this time line, who was the killer in the original time line?
Still so many episodes to go to get answers, lol. I'm not rushing it though. I'm glad she finally confessed, because she was getting on my nerves acting like she was just a concerned "fan". She was tormenting him and us! Good job Im Sol. Until next week.
I can't wait!!
