This drama I must say is off to a great start, I love the analogy, the comedic element and how the story has been put together so far.
I'm definitely invested in all of them and want to see the all succeed.

Right! Such abuses normally exist in making the kids feel guilty, demanding them to obey to the whims of the parents.…

You just get it xD they could only give what they have to their kids what they got from their parents. It's a generational thing bad parenting stems from bad parenting we've seen it time and time again. It's until one person breaks the cycle only then can it stop.

I love having introspective conversations like this it's important to have and learn from others too. So thank you I really enjoyed this conversation.

Beautifully said, this is why I believe self awareness is so important as we grow into adults or as we try to adult and having emotional intelligence as well. Once you understand yourself, the world is a lot more easier to understand and digest too because you'll know people only give what they have, and false expectations on people only leads to disappointment. If one does not see the value of this drama, it's totally wasted on them.

He was already being spread so thin because of their mum it's understandable that he just didn't have it in him. I believe he cares about her but his mum clouds his mind day and night.

I couldn't agree more. Parents don't often get it right some try in the best way they can.for some because they haven't healed themselves they bring that negative pattern into their parenting style hence the controlling mother the abusive mother the absentee father. It all trickles from what they too have experienced and have been taught. Self awareness is so important in becoming parents so as not to break your children before they have the chance to live properly and be their own person. It's up to us to break the cycle when and if we choose to have kids of our own.

theory time, Jin is Hwan's brother from his father's side, I mean why else would a mom hate her son, or like maybe…
That theory seems the most plausible but the father does not give me the cheating spouse vibes, but then again it was said that the father built the company that the wife is running. so maybe in the past he was a very different man and due to that he allows his wifes pet as they say. Because I highly doubt he doesn't know.

Yesss Jin did know, I felt he asked seo hwan if he liked her just to confirm, because it is blatantly obvious they have chemistry. I feel Jin wants to have an excuse ready and be like but I asked you if you liked her.
ahh the third charm, I won't lie and say I was not frustrated with that drama ugh because I was.

Ye Ji does come from a complicated background, the only thing I would change about your theory is that the mum did not mean to kill the dad, I want to say that there was a struggle for the gun between her mum and dad, the gun sets off killing him in the process and causing her to flea.

For Carry jung, for one the chairman is crazy, the way he poured water over her like that, tells me he is not her father or a very cruel father . Also what is it that Jin found out about their relationship that made him dump her like that.
My theory is either she was adopted, or an unwanted child.

I don't think Hwan's brother genuinely like Yeji, something about his characther i just don't like it.
I have the same feeling, I don't think he regards his brother as his brother, like the guy was about to save himself and his dad. That is significant because actions speak louder than words. Then he asks his brother if he likes Yeji, when it is clearly obvious he does and still goes ahead to pursue, very fishy.
