This drama is really good. The two episodes a day is killing me. I don’t have the patience. Imagine if it was one episode a week, I’d be pretty much dead and buried 😂 I am putting this drama on hold until more episodes come out.
Am I petty for dropping this show because of the actress? I have dropped all the dramas where she’s the lead. Is she popular in China? What’s her appeal? I still remember her as the annoying princess from The princess Weiyoug.
I seriously cannot get over the fact that the main actress (fl) wears the same makeup and similar outfits in every single period drama, whatever the time period. She also has the same hair piece. Furthermore, her hair is never out of place (God forbid) and she is never disheveled whatever the situation, whether she’s sleeping, waking up, walking, running, fighting, poisoned, sick, dying…

While I agree with you that many dramas do not have kissing scenes or require them, for example, love is beautiful or the princess weiyoung. The issue here is that they have such good (even great) chemistry but their kisses have been so flat or they go for hugs instead. It’s anticlimactic and a bit unrealistic to be honest hence why people are noticing it more.
