Appararently the admins catered to the demand to uplift positive reviews. Since they have today pinned up a positive review with 12 likes. When the most upvoted negative review has 265 likes. This sets a dangerous precedent.

Fans are trying to get admins to efface the negative reviews. They have even reported the reviewers:

Personally I think people upvote reviews that they agree with.

But things get really crazy around MDL with the conspiracy theories (mass upvoting / mass downvoting)

If k-drama writers don't get rid of the the tropebook, future of k-drama is not bright. Light and fluffy will satisfy a big audience of 15-25 olds and I guess they're catering to that. And counting on that segment's current trend for forming rabid fandoms around pure fluff. But what I see is a complete lack of ambition, experimentality and intelligence. Without artistic ambitions, k-dramas are circulating tired and worn out and hollow plots. Without putting in much effort and relying on the attractiveness of the stars.

Would You Marry Me is still entertaining bc of the sheer loveliness of Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min. But forgodssakes pls somebody make a shamessly ambious arthouse cinematic k-drama to revive my faith in k-dramas.

She has some 20 different accounts under which to "correct" the interpretations of wrongthinkers. It would be sad unless the attacks against the reviews and reviewers whose intepretations were not to her liking hadn't been so painful for the reviewers who were attacked. I had some private exchanges with some of them. These were not the kind of dramas I would watch or review myself (Hidden Love, Love Next Door, Feud, BAYM). I just pay attention when admins are asked to efface negative reviews in the Support forum.

I saw your exchange with our p..s. when I wasn't signed in (I'm blocked). She does this again and again, and will do it in future. The 4th drama with the same behavior. And always also going to the admins to try to efface negative reviews. Only one correct way to see a drama and it belongs to her. This would be a fascinating phenomenon if it didn't always cause a counter movement and give the comment page a toxic flavour. I don't really know what's so difficult about accepting that people see things differently. It's a mystery.

The morality clause in actors' contracts with advertisers must vanish for sanity to return. It can now be used to bring down anyone as we can see. It's very advantageous to advertisers and can lead to de facto stealing of the actors' earnings. Even the slightest whiff of having done something that someone somewhere considers less than saintly behavior can lead to cancelling. Advertisers don't have to wait to see whether blame game is based on verified evicence or not. This is why this lawsuit is so important.

This claim is straight up defamation. I think you should remove it yourself.

I'm an atheist but I don't understand why ML had to be Satan instead of just a lamp genie (as genies are in e.g. Thousand and One Nights). I think the writer needs to explain bc otherwise, what you said here sounds at least half true. The drama is more Netflixian than Korean.

We humans report you so no need for shenanigans meant to deceive algorithms.

The low rating is because the drama is a mess. Most people don't know or care about issues with religion.

I guess I'll try to send feeback to them. I have Youku too and I'm happy with it. Maybe I'll quit IQIYI and change back to WeTV.

MDL really really needs to grow a spine and develop stronger moderation practices. Pls everyone ask the profiles to be removed in addition to reporting. (To report, the three little dots and give the reason)

I'm not sure either about whether we actually need to leave the hateful comments in place as proof. In any case, I've gotten a bit tired of reporting as there is no attempt from the admins to bring on stronger moderation practices and more moderators.

This is a crime. Especially as I really like the Light On dramas. (I'm a subscriber)

Apparently it's too much to ask that kisskh would focus on dramas. Anything will do as "news". Meanwhile the user contributed articles pile up, never to see the light of day.

The real scandal here is that MDL does not respect actors or support them. Why are they dirtying this platform with their s****y outputs. We want editorials back and staff writers gone.

This is none of our business. We want to discuss dramas. The staff writers are gossip hungry predators. Actors' privacy must be respected.
