Odd question: I'd like to ask if any viewers notice the graininess of the video quality on Netflix? Would like…
I had the same issue with everything I watched on Netflix using my browser. Turns out if you're watching it in browser, you don't get HD quality even if you're paying for it. I downloaded the Netflix app from Microsoft Store and the quality skyrocketed. If you're not using the official app, give it a go!
thanks.. but only the first episode is subbed ðŸ˜
They usually release new episodes with English subs each week after first one airs. It's just that they give advantage to Netflix JP, few weeks of a head start. Check your Netflix when the next episode airs, it could differ for each region but in due time all episodes with English subs will be available.
This has got to be one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time - I literally cry laughing nearly every episode so far, if you're a fan of Japanese humor then you'll love this. Big thanks to Shin for subbing this! :D
The youngest person to ever pass a bar exam in Japan was 19 years old. And obviously they're taking her child-like aspect and making it seem like that gives her a pass for her off and on court behavior. It's obviously not something that would ever be allowed in real life.
i don’t plan on watching this, but i’m curious. why is the rating 5.9?
The synopsis doesn't really describe the series and, judging by the poster (and this synopsis) people expected Mackenyu to have far more screen time than he currently does.
The show is fine, clearly marketed towards international audiences that know very little of how Japan operates. The plot isn't anything new or never before seen, but it might be for someone who stumbles upon it on Disney+ or Hulu.
Lol... I thought the same. But it's not just Japan... dramas from other countries have that, too... Or they just…
I mean, Japan has about 72 doramas airing for the spring season. Some are bound to have some thematical overlap, especially when you're mass producing them to that extent. You can look at the currently airing shows of any country on MDL and find similarities.
Some Japanese recs coming your way (I checked if you've watched them) 3 Nen A Gumi: Ima kara Mina-san wa, Hitojichi Desu 99.9: Keiji Senmon Bengoshi Doctor X Influence Kazoku Game Konto ga Hajimaru Long Vacation Neechan no Koibito Tengoku to Jigoku: Psychona Futari Todome no Kiss Watashitachi wa Douka Shiteiru
They're a mix of various genres, some are romance, some medical, some law, some mystery. Hope you like at least some of them, I really enjoyed them by far the most.
What do you mean? Only one episode is out, the next is scheduled to be out in 5 days. They're releasing one episode…
I think it might be due to them sometimes taking a week "break" so they don't list as many forward... But it's unusual to get instant international release for jdramas so we'll have to wait and see but I believe they'll follow through.
True. I too believe women were not really made the part of the game. It was really hard to watch them struggle…
If you want an all female show, I suggest "Siren". It's on Netflix too.
Yeah, I understand they came to the showing knowing they're not going to win, but wanted to match up against men to see whether they could beat them. But seeing how they treat them during group quests is painful...
This is exactly how I felt about this drama as well! I think it would have been so much better if her character…
I know, right? Her family was never mentioned so we don't really know what happened to them, but from what I was able to tell she landed her dream job, had a best friend who is also a roommate and a great support system composed of neighbors/coworkers who really cared for her! But all of that is somehow... put aside, as if it holds no value.
And definitely, I was DYING when Pres said "Yoroshiku,ne?" to Shintani as a grand apology. LIKE WHAT? "Ha-ha-ha, took ur girl, we still gucci right? aye bro we gucci" is like the level of conversational depth that they had.
Second leads were too pure for this world, we don't deserve them~

I've explained my reasoning, if you disagree you can write how/why. Until then, ciao
