I understand, I think she moved on along the lines, She was literally considering his confession before the cancer introduction that messed everything up, she was always smiling when he reminds of the milk expiry date , she puts on makeup and dress nicely the day after being confessed to , Honestly I think the cancer reveal plus the ex erased everybody's memory about these details The writer leaves a lot of subtle signs , it is up to the viewers to interpret them as they want but it is pretty obvious she liked him too, she needed to sort her emotions and move on completely from her past so that she can finally heal and take a step forward in her life , she did that , she realized how much Seunghyo meant to her and decided to give him and herself a chance , but them being best friends makes it easier, they already know each other thus the relationship kinda smooth for them (no need to knowing each other phase)
