Well the beginning didn't give us much on romance , I feel towards the end the whole drama will be intense It's better to put the loveline now rather than the end where everything is in chaos It looks like ep 12 will be a banger
some people do really expect each episode to be intense, fast-paced story, no love triangles and so on LOL
Yeah this is has more combination of genres , the beginning has been intense so far so it's only right they give some episodes to the other characters and genres
I saw someone being worried about an article about AOS saying it's not doing well in ratings and Netflix they way it is supposed to or planned by TVN Well I think this drama is doing very well considering it's genre and the hate it got ,even a scandal and storyline , people hardly prefer these type of stories, I've realized dramas that do well nowadays or this year are not fantasy just simple life stories and major romance and mostly dramas people feel they can relate with and sympathize with; these dramas attract all ages but alchemy of souls is very different , everything about it is unique which might put people off , older people and kids might not enjoy it due to it's complex storyline
I don't like people comparing this drama to any drama in any category whether it's a TVN drama or not because in the midst of all the competition , it's the only drama that stands on it's own , in terms of storyline and casts.
It's is doing very well on it's own and I'm sure TVN was uncertain about it's popularity too . I've never watched a drama based on it's rating or popularity ; those doesn't show how good a drama is it shows how successful it is. I know AOS is good because I watched and this comment section proves it So before anyone come at the ratings and it's popularity , you better chill and just enjoy the drama

Honestly I stay away from theories as much as possible because I will be disappointed if they are true , kinda like spoilers, one reason I love this drama is the unpredictable story But I don't mind the theory of the characters , so this is my most challenging thought Naksu is a merciless assassin right and she obviously has a different personality compare to now she is in Mudeok's body, throughout the series she has pretended a lot with everyone just to keep her cover and her mission of getting her powers back Some people might disagree with me but I think mudeok's body has shaped the personality she has now and the only thing I find genuine about her is the care and affection she has for UK
The real Naksu would have killed the mages and even our daeho f4 if it wasn't for mudeok so is it really fate that brought mudeok to Naksu because to me everything falls in place , everything would have been different if she had gotten a different body or body she could access her energy
NB: I just brought this up because I just realized Naksu in Mudeok's body has made me forgotten that the real Naksu was an assassin IMAOðŸ¤
