Title 1987: When the Day Comes Spoiler
I agree. Truly a great movie. Tiananmen Square protests only dreamed of what South Korea achieved. Some governments…
In my review, I mentioned the President Park Geun-Hye (2013-2017), the daughter of dictator Park Chung-hee. She summed up what the South Koreans would do when they see corruption. I understand military being a force in the country being on the border of North Korea, but it did not give the military the right to be in total control.

While in my opinion, and I do not mean to get political, the CCP, are a minority in China forcing their will on 650-700 million Chinese people.

South Korea could have been like them, but with a military Dictator who knows every few years maybe. But thankfully they are not. Democracy is not perfect but we can improve on it and learn from our mistakes that is what I like about this movie. It had a deeper meaning that I was able to connect to. No I am not Korean I have studied history.

Title 1987: When the Day Comes Spoiler
What an amazing movie. It started off very slow and confusing; I'm not Korean so I didn't know most of the context…
I agree. Truly a great movie. Tiananmen Square protests only dreamed of what South Korea achieved. Some governments will never change like China while others will change through pro-democracy activists little by little. South Koreans were fighting since 1960s, but it just made it a bigger and more worldwide issue.

Title Jewel in the Palace Spoiler
I just started with a few episodes to watch it on Dramamine but it’s a bit complicated there to watch it, sad…
Incredible show. I hope Netflix or Viki picks it up so I can watch it on my 72 inch Flatscreen Sony TV. I wish I owned this show on BR. I am still waiting for that day. I have to watch it on these sites.

I hate musicals. This was painful. Nothing happens and I'm never getting this time back.
I agree. Came back to the comment section to see if people watched this yet. I seemed to have been to generous in my grading. The story was very light as I explained above. A movie for the masses no doubt not for hardcore fans.

watched this weeks ago, and i was surprised with such high average ratings from reviews. i mean this series was…
I am surprised by the high ratings also , but when it aired in South Korea it was highly rated and everyone thought highly of the show. I wouldn’t rate it a 9.3 but 9.08-9.2/10 range.

I love the other dramas by this writer but this one just wasn't up to par. I didn't find much of it funny, nor…
It is a halfway point, but I am surprised a lot of people cried as I did not cry. It was a humanistic Hospital story not political which I liked. I was not a fan of Reply 1994, but like I say every time everyone have different tastes. Some people connect with the story while others do not. We are all different. I was a huge fan of Reply 1988 and Prison Playbook.

I watched all except two films The Great Hypnotist (2014) and Sword Master (2016). For some reason I have no will to watch those two movies. Now My Boss, My Hero (2001) I feel bad for this film since the Japanese remake was awesome, and it is left in the dust, but it does a great job too. Unbeatable (2013) surprised me since Hong Films have generally not faired so well as of late, but that is my opinion. People should see that film for its sheer brilliance.

Your rating is generous, I gave it a 5.1965/10.
I was going to give it 4/10 but I decided against it. I hate to give ratings below 6 but anything I rating below 6.5 is considered a crapper.

Yeah, It takes a dedication long hours but like I mention a lot I would not have been able to learn Korean without conversing with my Korean friend at the (Dry Cleaners). I am sure you can do it if you put your mind to it.

I love this show to bits but Ep. 9 (17/18) was a slog, save for all the scenes with our OTP. They shimmered as…
I noticed the English subtitles too were off I was like were these people high on crack or something. I literally knew when they spoke and the subtitles popped up it was incorrect since I am fluent in Korean.

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
l have seen my fair share of cliches and tropes. I hope they did not know each other when they were younger, but it is looking that way. Plus, I hate Love Triangle, so that better wrap up quickly with the other FL if there are any lingering feelings. KSH and SYJ do have awsome chemistry, but I thought I say my thoughts. Everyone else have said everything I liked about this show in more detail.

also wow this comment section is barely active
Not many people watching this show. I would comment, but I comment the day I watch the episode, which I will be commenting later today on episode 9.
