LJW only became popular because he starred alongside older more experienced women in Search WWE who elevated his star. The point still remains, that women build most male actors careers. There's a lack of sensitivity, lack of sensible-ness, and a backwardness in KDramas that shocks me. The rest of the world has collectively moved on from fat suits, but Writernim wants to recreate the movie "200 pound Beauty " from like 2006!😂😂😂. The way they address some issues leaves a lot to be desired.
They can show the inability to fly by through her emotional struggle with bulemia (compulsiveness and bingeing, mood swings , anxiety,guilt etc) and a less drastic weight gain by the actress (like in My Name is Kim Sam Soon).
Because she is definitely going to go back to her old self in coming episodes, so they made her wear a fat suit,…
Or maybe they should just have gotten an actress on the heavier side and instead of slimming magically, she should just remain "fat". The drama "Perfume" did that.
Very interesting first two episodes. I wondered why the cast would accept to star in such a drama just based on this plot, but now I can see why. I hope the story is more about the characters and their connection than using the superpowers to create fantabulous action scenes.
