When actors leech off of more talented ones, the discussion is focused on how they raised the performance of the lesser actor, not of them working together to elevate the story...

So yes, they leech.

"he's leeching off the abilities of others".

I'll not keep my anger to myself. It's partly because we fought hard against KHY being left out and discarded after carrying the show that her agency got her a variety show appearance. Anger works.

You and lilchimmy seem to have entrenched her in the "Kim Hye Yoon raises actors" category... That's a big problem with the narrative around her, that every actor is expected as a matter of course to leech from her talent and effort. That's the thrust of the last sentence of your main comment.

Those who've leeched off her have gained so much, and I can bet earn more than her per episode, while she's doing dramas below her level eg Lovely Runner, Extraordinary you, and now this one... alongside YET ANOTHER actor who's not up to the mark. They offer her ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in return.

Saving poor actors by splashing them with her mystical acting stardust is not what she should be doing with her talent and accomplishments.
