Copy cat nowdays' life. This describes everyday's newscast from highups and their descendants. Power and money are the pillars of corruption, scandals, evil, brutality, s*x offenders, children abuse, etc. Few are still able to cherish their sanity..but they are too few. From where did the casting department find these beautiful babies, infants and child actors ? It's still a wonder fo me. Imagine in ten years those kids will discover that Bai Yu, Zhou Yu Tong, Yu Hao Ming held them in their arms, teased them and played with them live on screen. I have to re-watch each episode in order to follow suit the next one. I have no regret to be behind schedule. Such a detailed story, props, synchronized lighting, adequate soundtrack, different accents, rough gestures, etc. What a production ! It's a feast for the eyes to witness great acting.

You aren't wrong. Some actors are not cut for historical characters. The difference with the veteran actors here in this story is a huge gap. I've never dared to raise this issue. You have the courage and I second that.

I noticed that many actors avoid affectuous scenes. It must be written on their contracts. And they have to be extremely careful as not to offend their peers. I always admire actors/actresses cuddling each other on screen even doing the "fish kisses". I don't believe that they are that attracted to each others to that extend. They really deserve their "big bucks" for each of these scenes.
