He is barely 20 years old. Why is he so sickly omg?
Unfornutately there are no early signs for lung cancer. It appears at all ages according to weather and living conditions at that time. His weezing, short of breath, etc for our contemporary science these few symptoms look like it. But not being an expert, I give up to the historians' researches.
By the way, I read all your input on this Cdrama. Thank you for feeding this thread with so much information. You are a time saving angel.
I was expecting tibetan instruments and lyrics for some takes. This soundtrack doesn't elevate my emotions in regards to the sceneries. Emotions moved by music are personal feelings. Anyway, i'm glad you enjoy it.
The story itself depicts the complexity of these dynasties' history. And the comments on this thread complete it with praiseworthy veracity accentuated with commendable links.
So, I want to be superficial about these 20 episodes and list what I love : the sound track - I don't have enough of it, generally soundtracks keep me invested by watching a Cdrama the horses - there is something captivating about the horses, I freeze my screen when they appear the wardrobe - I praise the wardrobe department, it's arts the actors' diction - give the impression of being right at the warrior camps, the actors surely had diction courses the gestures, body language - the feel of that era is so real the choice of actors for each character - I am impressed by the casting department the uniqueness - I cannot compare with other Cdramas as for this genre there are also impressive filming. Still here extra effort was made. the last but not the least the veteran actors - if they were not casted, I wouldn't watch it.
The first 2 minutes of the 1st episode and I am driven by the UNESCO World Heritage Potala palace ? Such a variety of Chinese languages even within the same county. So accents are legion.
Just noticed its airing this very morning in my region.
I wonder what type of criticism some people will write on this subject before watching its 1st episode and I am looking forward to a good laugh.
This being said, I am eager to be taken by the hand into a journey to Tibet my dreamland to discover. Its music and voice chants are already resonating in my ears.
With Hu Ge on the boat I am sure to be amazed by the story. Now time to get my saddle and my horse...it's show time !
The episode numbering was quite unique. Good to give a chance to young actors and actresses. So, not much fan base so we don't see only their faces at every new airing Cdrama.
ep4: 1:40 :"An unrighteous family will not show mercy. At that time, when that heartless scoundrel came to…
I am so glad that I am not the only one puzzled with this relationship chart. I've just finished episode 2 because I watched and rewatched scenes to put the puzzle together...still I have some concern. Fortunately it is an exceptioal production otherwise I would have given up.
I'm still wondering why I'm enjoying watching this Cdrama although I really prefer serious stories. It is "cleverly" funny - "cleverly" because it isn't overacted neither from the male nor from the female actors. There are many clichés but the director exagerates those scenes by freezing the camera longer than expected. At that moment I laugh so much asking "what the heck has happened". The cast must have had hilarious moments.

That nurse reaction was a little bit too much.
Cannot wait for the bombing scenes.
