Honestly, I've rewatched this last episode like 5 times already. I was so afraid that the direction/writing could let the story down, but it's mostly enhanced what the novel provided.
I really love the psychological aspect of stories/characters, and I couldn't be happier with how the show runners have dug into the nuance of the characters even more than the novel did. I also love that they've left room for Jimmy and Sea to improvise and add to the story as well.
It's honestly so magical when every part of a show works together.
I'm having such a hard time with the cringe humour. I really love Supanut and want to support a series that kind of steps outside of the boundaries. I nearly dropped this at ep 3. There is a lot that I enjoy, but give me strength because I wanna be here.
BIIIIIIIIIIIHHHHHHHHHHH1. Please let my bb Sea have dry eyes for one episode2. THAT ONE SCENE. You know the one.JimmySea…
I'm a little bit of a sucker for fake dating, I was hoping they might exaggerate it, but they kept it closer to the book, but after the kiss?? I'm good. I'm so good.
Ahhhh, this week's been so good for JimmySea fans. My fave highlights this week was the squabble over the phone, and the introduction of Khaohom. She's so charismatic!
I may be well fed, but I need Sunday like I need air!
I sat and rewatched this a couple of weeks ago. I'm used to skipping through parts I don't care about, but I made myself watch everything and oh man...it was kind of a shitshow, especially at the end.
The second to last episode, I felt like I was being held hostage by Tai's family.
There are cute parts. It's kind of silly and you can turn your brain off and enjoy it...but maybe don't pay too close attention, because it's rough.
Some people are mentioning that Wan sounds like Khao. I'm not familiar enough with him, specifically his singing voice to be able to tell. I know GMMTV will go out of their way to pair their CPs up, but do you think they'll change up Karn's fate just to force a happy ending?
I'll be honest. I've only ever seen FirstKhao in cameos, so I'll be pretty disappointed if they work in a redemption arc. Also, they are spoon-feeding the foreshadowing, or is it just me?
(My brain is also a sieve. My B if I've misremembered/forgotten anything from the book).
The added draaamaaaaaaaaaa holay.Rent was due, and Sea served. Again.
When I was reading the book, it felt a little like a glorified bed sharing kind of story. I did say that I hope they fleshed out some of the plot points more, and boy are they ever kicking it up a notch.
I like the balance between the comedy and the more dramatic moments. I'm only part way through the episode rn, I'm excited for the village characters and their story line!
edit: this mf has a dyson hair dryer. He would ðŸ˜
This does feel like queer content for queer people, and it's a little refreshing.
When I first started watching BL (not long ago). I was happy that I could turn my brain off and just watch stories about queer happiness (as opposed to all the queer suffering in western media). But that only sustained me for so long before I started wanting more substance. This looks like it will provide that narrative, and that's good.
Edit: I meant this as a joke. Like Victor's gonna crash out soon or something.

They've done well so far in enhancing the experience without making the story unrecognizable. I'll just continue to have faith in them for now.
