Good article! Concerning the '999 Chinese medicine' bit, I think the subbers might have mis-translated the product.…
Ahh thank you! I was a bit sceptical and tried to double check with google but my chinese is hopeless, So I just trusted the Viki subbers >.< Thank you for the information!

Thank you! Yeah!! The lab coat Dx I have a friend at work who always walk around with the lab coat open and I always tell her "girl, it's not hard to button it up" and she's like "but I have stuff in my pockets and I can't reach them", yeah well lab coats also have pockets just put them all there! yikes

Hahaha I need to learn to not take those scenes seriously

You nailed it. Hehe, in my country you wouldn‘t be admitted to a hospital for a cold and you have to wait for…
Thank you! Omg, that's the same as in my country too, maybe we live in the same country hahaha it takes 4 hours until we get help just for them to say nah you're good to go home
Yeah it's super annoying how would patients even know anything about medications??

Thanks for writing this article! As a medical laboratory technologist myself, I agree with you 100% (esp about…
Yay! Yes my family still don't understand what I do, they think we only take blood samples -_- I was pissed once that I took to youtube and explain how we do PCR. Really? Where do you work? Because we have people at clinical chemistry wearing nail polish and jewelry, and dresses. But we can't at molecular biology :( hahah

God's Quiz is like a mix of investigation and medical, I hope you'll like it! Thank you for reading <33

this is just one of the small reasons I tend to dislike medical dramas. What I hate the most in any drama is when…
LOL they are exaggerating too much that it's ridiculous. I overdosed on iron vitamins once (embarrassing, i know) I was cold sweating, my body was shivering ugh worst day, but despite that I had a test man, so I couldn't lay in bed to rest xD

Remember the Chinese TV drama "Surgeons" from 2017? Lead female surgeon trotting around the hard hospital floors…
HAHAH, it's crazy, can't they at least *try* to make it realistic?

we have a few of those people at the clinical chemistry lab, they wear nail polish, rings and bracelets, perfume, people always talk shit about them xD

Thank you so much! Microbiology is my favorite field but it's so weird that it's not being taught or used correctly :( I feel you!

First off, your job is so cool, kudos to you! I really laughed at the “Treating an injury scene” point haha.…
Thank you! Hahah yeah it's getting frustrating.
It's so weird how countries are so different, where I live now we usually wait 4 hours until we get help at ER, and if we really are sick they give us paracetamol and tell us to go home ^^"

I've always wanted to hear from a scientist's point of view. The main thing the irks me in dramas is when they're…
aww thank you! I hope the article was helpful. We do wear safety goggles when there are chances of splashing liquids onto our faces, for example emptying infectious waste fluids from equipments ^^

Thanks for your articles. I am a Registered Nurse for over 10 years. Watching some of the medical / surgical drama/movie…
Thank you for reading it! They are definitely questionable and I don't take them seriously at all, but it's so sad to see how the entertainment industry display false facts, especially the antibiotics part, it's very dangerous and ignorant of them.

I wrote this article to highlight how we think at the lab, and to laugh about these drama moments, but also for some education!
