I like plenty of Thai shows, you know that. When they do Thai element right. π€£
I am neutral and undecided on this one mind you. π
The over powdering is not something I will support. I say the same thing about Jshows with their artificial hair colours. And dramas from anywhere with extremely malnourished actors actresses.
We have two other ongoing GMM BLs, you can see my comments there. Mostly positive.
The clerk in the mini mart looks familiar, but I just cannot recall who. So thanks for adding that whoever you are.
Boss from "Venus in the Sky", that's a 9NAA show, I was considering GMM shows mostly no wonder I missed. A very diverse cast indeed.
EP2 in, the story is okay. I have no complaint other than the heavy makeup.
They just put too much powder on the actors, esp. Inn, even in Thai standard. If you want a contrast with Great, put less on Great (and Pod). Yes it's Thai beauty standard but why powder a skin white enough to begin with? He looks more whitish than the ceramic tile in the hospital, in a way that appears unhealthy. Sometimes, less is more.
A great cast and production team did not salvage this disaster.
The Kdrama version was frustrating enough, but the overall tone of that series remained positive. The FL developed self respect, learned to love, and more importantly accepted herself as who she is.
Unrealistic beauty standard and self discovery. The message of the story and it is missing here. All the characters here have their assigned personalities (bad ones) and they all stick to it as if their lives depend on it.
The story might not be perfect, but I like it more this way. It has an identity apart from market dramas that are all hype and no depth.
The sound effects is weird sometimes, like the mysterious effect sounds like horror and the daytime music is orchestra. It doesn't quite match the scene here and there.
Still a tad gloomy. Can you be happy about your success, if only a little bit? You got your favourite from someone you like and you looked as if someone force fed you poison.
I get that you are not used to the attention, but to be totally indifferent about it? Aren't you supposed to like acting? Would you not act and put up a façade for the interviews at least.
Okay so enter a fiery rival next EP. The acting is decent but the overall tone of the series is dark and pessimistic. Lighten up please.
This is silly, but not pretentious about it. So the plot is nothing new, they spin it in a way that is light and relaxing.
They have toned down on those "effects" too, that's very unnecessary IMO. The actors are doing fine, why add blushing effects that actually blocked their face? And we can see a heart without you putting a big distracting pink heart in the middle of the screen. The Kang aura... Okay this one blocked nothing at least.
Oh the beginning of EP.5, how can you do this to us? π€£I won't spoil but you will know what I mean when you see it, I'm not complaining.
is he indecisive? genuine question here, cos i thought he was introverted and hesitant to speak out in some situations,…
Well it is hard to understand him to begin with, so I'm not analysing him or something.
His actions are very reluctant, as you said is that indecisive, hard to say? To everyone else, his decisions are very delayed, that's what everyone other that Yuki would feel it as, indecisive.
And very weird. Surely he won't say "I haven't kill people before so I will go on a rampage" just because of a role. π
So it is not the logic but his conclusion. To go find a one night stand because of or lack of "like". Impulsive, and yes desperation I agree. In a very wrong direction. π
It appears that the next EP will brighten up considerably. They should have done it sooner, EP 1 & 2 are a bit gloomy for a beginning.
Yuki's personality is hard to relate to. He is introvert and indecisive, yet compulsive to an extreme degree. So if you get a role about drunks, you will go binge drinking? What about a crazy? Or heck a serial killer? π€£
The acting, minus Nat, is okay. That is not to be confused with the story and character development.
Just the part they time skipped is a lot. It is true. Simplified to a point that people finds it predictable and funny that characters come and go like fast food restaurants.
It does look sweet in a drama, but imagine in RL, potentially bloody and jaw breaking. I'm glad Pond took a pause there and went for a peck.
I was wondering how many takes they would need for a scene like this? You know, the drama fluffs that look good, but have to be nightmarish to setup in practice. π€
I like the series overall. It has an original identity, trying something new.
Towards the middle the EPs drag a little, important screen time the ending can make use of.
As for the ending itself, I can take a happy sad end. There are problems here and there. But for a budget series, they have done well with what they have.
We like what we like and say so. π

They have problems? They are not happy? Nothing of that sort has been shown, the couple is happy until that random scene. Ken even moved on.
Anything other than a triangle is a joke, and then a wild imagination. The series shows it as such.
It is off point and sudden. You can ship who and however you want, your question has nothing to do with my comment.
The plot here is a triangle that is solved, and the finale changed it randomly.
Go make your own post for the poly fantasy. The series is not an example to begin with.
Dubbing might not be the best method, but surely better than on-screen Korean subtitle? π Who came up with that?

I retain my thought that they should have singers sing, not this cultural & lingual mismatch.
The dog is the MVP of the series. Enough said.
"Peach of Time" was a trauma but it is done well. And there is more of this collaboration to come? I hope they learn from this.
I watched "Catch Me Baby" and did not like the FL. "The Miracle of Teddy Bear" was okay, but I'm saddened by the ending.
Great and "Tofu" and GMM, a surprise indeed.

If it is their home fine. But anywhere, they have auto GPS to locate eachother.
So they act normal and you may not notice it, but Kram can be anywhere and everyone knows when and where he is.
Just the part they time skipped is a lot. It is true. Simplified to a point that people finds it predictable and funny that characters come and go like fast food restaurants.
Look at their comments.

What would you call it then?π€£
Well so much that when the situation reversed fans would surely enjoy. Be warned. π
