I will take a victory lap because since - oh, I dunno, Episode 31?? - I have always called her Granny Evil. 60+…
It makes sense. He had his bad moment, when he wanted to intervene between TK and YD, but he heard and understood TK's arguments because he is also a foster father. And has since shown his support for them.
I think the author doesn't like female characters, because analyzing now almost all the male characters are consistent or get better, while the female ones mostly went downhill: YD- from tigress turned into an kitten, keeps whining. Grandma- for a moment we thought she had evolved, but in a few minutes with JH, she went back to only blood matters. BN and IO - up and down mothers, one moment are supporting the other they are against. to later support again, I think they are like the tides, influenced by the moon
And I was literally wondering yesterday what would replace this show
Just the fact that the author of Hyo Shim doesn't like excessive suffering of the characters is really good. I don't know if I've seen any other dramas by the author, I can't remember.
About Tumbling Family , it seems to be quite interesting, but I never watched a daily drama. I'll think about it.
There are so many theories at the moment.1. TK's Bio dad is the hot shot lawyer Chan Sik happens to hire for the…
The theories are interesting and within the dramaland even possible. Except #2 because the way Grandpa cried so heartily when talking to TK, I can't believe she's acting. It was a cry of suffering.
The drama has reached a point where there is no favorable solution, within the realm of plausible things. Because Strawberry's plot was well tied. We saw the DNA test being done. And even though JH is not her biological son, he is the nun's brother and consequently connected to grandma and the Gong family (just remembering him throwing all that in TK's face makes me sick to my stomach). I think we should be prepared whatever the final solution is, it's not going to please at some point.
I don't question Grandma's feeling or her giving the love she would like to give her late daughter to JH and Eka.What…
I understand your point of view but I don't agree.
He knows that unfortunately Haneul has ties to JH. But he doesn't want to be tied to JH beyond that. He questioned grandma to find out what to do, he noticed that despite saying she was divided, she had already made her decision. He saw her anguish, of course he was disappointed, but he understood everything.
And when he announces that he's going to remove the name from the family register, he says they don't have to worry about him getting upset over the inclusion of the other. I didn't see as if to gain sympathy. I saw it as a firm attitude, thoughtful and that he believes to be the best for everyone.
I would do the same thing. But I wouldn't warn anyone, I believe he's more polite than I am.
Anyway, this is my point of view (I just rewatched the scenes) and it is totally different from yours, so we have to wait and see what will come next.
I find it interesting that yall don't see a problem with TK loving on another man's baby but get upset with aa…
I don't question Grandma's feeling or her giving the love she would like to give her late daughter to JH and Eka. What I question and I think many viewers also do is that she knows what JH is and what he did, but everything seems to have no weight now, no matter how evil it was done. It would have been better if it happened gradually and not has magically been erased from her memory.
As for TK not wanting to be part of the family anymore, I don't think he's so despicable to use the "either he or I" card. He's not like JH... As I see it he knows that fighting over Haneul's custody will bring a dilemma to the family, especially Grandma. And he wants her and the family not to have to worry about being in the middle of the two and choosing a side. And grandma has already made it clear to him how she feels. And he knows she always prioritizes the bloodline.
It's not hard to imagine that he doesn't want to have more family ties with JH than necessary. The rest of the family has to accept JH as a member, but he doesn't. And as far as we know what TK is, he wouldn't do it to pressure anyone or play games to make them feel sorry for him. He has endured 20 years of abuse without complaint. It wouldn't be now that he would do that.
Iβve not watched this weekendβs episodes. Decided to wait for the last episode to air so I can fast forward…
I watched the episode. And the plot was really bad.
I understand that Grandma wants to give all the love she had for Strawberry to JH and Eka. She is sincere, but going from 0 to 100 in a few seconds and making JH a good person in her eyes just for being her grandson is too much.
That's what makes this plot unlikely, since it happens at the end of the drama, without showing a development of the characters' emotions. Actually what bothers me the most is this possible arc of redemption for JH because now he remains who he always was, self-centered, competitive and mean. He hasn't changed, he's pretending to be the good grandson. So far I don't see any change, since it seems that his current behavior is SJ's guidance on how to approach the grandmother. He thanked SJ for the tip. No one is going to convince me that he did it out of a sincere desire to get along with grandma. I know he feels touched by Granny's hug, but the feeling passed quickly.
And what I feared has already happened. He will use being a real (here's the keyword) family member to despise TK and get YD and Haneul. For me he's doing this because TK's father spoke in favor of TK. We can never forget that he didn't want YD, since he was ready to marry SJ, let alone intend to be a father. And he only changed his mind because he saw TK's interest in the mother and daughter. Or not?
I don't really care about the Gong family, and I'd rather TK not be a part of it. I know that the father likes him and raised him as if he were a biological son. But I wish TK had already cut ties with his family when his mom freaked out. Now he wouldn't have to watch JH treat him with an air of superiority, knowing that he's (JH) already won his place there. Without making any effort, just being the prodigal son. I could see in his eyes that he would like to humiliate TK again. And to think that he didn't want to meet his mother's family because he thinks they would want his money. How ironic, what is he doing now? Fighting over the Gong family's money. Or someone doubts that he won't convince Granny to give him a place in the company. This time as an heir.
Although I think there's something wrong, as he mentioned before that he doesn't have a family and is an orphan. And suddenly he has a sister and a dead mother. And he doesn't want his sister to know about everything he's done, maybe mainly because he asked YD to have an abortion since his sister is a nun. But it's already suspicious that he wants to hide it because TK and his family don't like him. But most likely the author will put that page of the script in the same place where he put about the original Jay's family.
and that in just one episode. Woah. Also shithead gets full on kumbaya-ed, none of the abuse, stalking and hurt…
I think I'll just read about today's episode later. I'll vent my anger by trying to complete Abysm 12 in Genshin Impact. At least I can beat game villains mercilessly.

I need someone to hold my hand if the drama goes the ways of YLAG and now TRHC π¬π
Thanks BT
