this is one of the WORST cdrama i've seen so far. It should have ended at episode 15 or something and maybe it would have been a decent one. This story was so stupid it made question if this was a parody of something. The only "decent" character is the ML that is not an idiot like the rest. I regret every second spent watching this show. I'm pretty sure the writer forgot his own story half way through, especially with the FL.
If you are thinking of watching this drama, do yourself a favour and skip it.
10/10 drama. One of the best i've seen in a long time. Romance was amazing and the story was so interesting. It was not the same story where the watcher finds out the truth from the start.
Is it just me or Ao Rui Peng look a lot like Dylan Wang? Maybe the smile.

dropped after the 9th episode. Romance was ok, but the world building i've seen so far is not for me. Everybody is a greedy pos that would destroy humanity to get more power and kill the MC that apparently is quite weak since he can be easily ambushed or controlled with demonic powers. He would be already dead if not for the female lead that saved him. How is he still alive. He was hyped to be strong as fuck in ep1 but it seems to be strong only with the mask on...
Might rewatch it some other time. Maybe it's not for me rn

Exactly! I get it that he saved her just to get information and was "forced" to play the wife role, but he still saved her life. Fine with them splitting but the hate was not necessary.
Didn't expect this to be one of the best romance/revenge c-drama I've seen so far. The first half is perfect. The ending is also amazing. The actors are so good and it's the first time I see many of them. The romance between the ML and FL is the best part of this drama, followed by them being geniuses while plotting revenge or attacking the enemy. The only thing I don't get or maybe I've missed is the reason why the FL hated the ML so much after getting back her memories. I get that she was tricked in "marrying" him but he also saved her life and treated her very good. He also did not take advantage of the situation and slept with her. Ok for he to be mad, but wanting to kill him? I thought she knew that him attacking the bandits in the past was a misunderstanding. This made the drama 6-7 episodes longer and, in my opinion, was not necessary. Overall, amazing c-drama.
The Long Ballad was, indeed, long. About the main romance: love Dilraba, hate Leo Wu. I was 100x more interested in the second romance between Liu Yu Ning and Zhao Lu Si. Very refreshing seeing her not playing the usual over-the-top funny character. I didn't mind the comic animated scences, but the green screen effect with the actors' face was horrible. Also, i find it very boring when people, seeing Changge's face, think she's a man jus because she's wearing man clothes. In episode 18, I was hoping for a wlw romance between Changge and Mimi. I would have been better than what we got with the male lead.
my exact reaction as soon as i saw them together. Missed the change to be an amazing GL.
the scene where they were on the cliff, drinking together before she went to the enemy state was amazing. I was hoping for a GL as soon as the FL painted the flower on the scar. Missed 10/10 GL drama
