what is Do Min Joon real name from his planet? He must have changed his name many times right?
damn, another Doctor Who name debacle. That would have made an interesting sub-sub plot. Chun Song Yi just chasing Do Min Joon trying to find out his real name while he keeps on growling and changing the subject.
I feel so so for this drama.Really don't understand why got high rate.
To be honest, most Korean dramas of the same genre follow the same regurgitated narrative and hence are nearly always (as you stated) predictable; but that doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing if their formula for a good story is well thought out.
What i tend to enjoy personally is when plots and sub plots are well thought out and presented. They did a good job here by exploring a bit of the beginning of this adventure and those are the things i personally feel that add to the story and what shows like goblin lacked.
You're right about quadrangle debacle though, it was quite unnecessary as none of them even came close to make you doubt an alternative match up but i still enjoyed their presence. Park Hae Jin was particularly good compared to when i watched him in Cheese in the trap.
the thing that annoyed me was the two mums all up in their kids careers signing their souls away without any permission and acting all high and mighty when screwing their kids over.
the other thing that annoyed me was they seemed to make a big deal about how Chun Song Yi's brother had a father complex but never addressed it when the time came or what the hell the father was doing all that time. They just randomly show him going around stalking his kids.
Plz guys help is it like (because it's first time) drama cause i hated this one so & i do not want to…
BITFT was soul sucking. i went into it thinking it would be fun with a good story; boy was i wrong! still finished it though and it was bland to say the least.
I feel so so for this drama.Really don't understand why got high rate.
Also, i see that you've only recently started watching k dramas.
shows that i would recommend watching include:
-1 litre of tears (japanese) 11 eps Drama/Romance/Family
-Mother (japanse) 11 eps Suspense/Drama/Family
-Reply 1988 (korean) 20 eps Comedy/Friendship/Romance
-Signal (korean) 16 eps Detective/Suspense/Supernatural
-The Sound of your heart (korean (on netflix)) 20 eps Comedy/Family/Romance
-Splash Splash LOVE (korean) 2 eps Comedy/Romance/Supernatural

The show has it's flaws such as the fact that they don't explain how he has these powers - even if he is an alien, or the fact that the media accepted his existence so easily.
However it has many great moments. There's actual chemistry between the two main leads and you tend to root for those interested in them as well. It invokes love/hate towards a lot of the characters and has it's moments of hilarity.
I can see why you don't think it should be so highly rated but compared to shows like 'Goblin' this one doesn't drag on too long and explores the past of the main characters.
I found the start was a bit slow, but never doubted its potential (give it at least 3eps). The friendship, romance,…
i thought the exact same thing! the first couple of episodes were kind of slow, but soon after that it kicks itself up a notch and does a fantastic job at telling the story well.
i feel like this show does a lot of what goblin failed to do. most importantly, it actually explored their previous life which imo goblin totally butchered.
By far, one of the best korean comedies ever produced! (so far).
Great acting from awesome characters! hopefully there's a season 2 soon.
the only place that it's available fully is on Netflix; so if you have an account, go check it out!
Too much repeated flashbacks Too much unnecessary scenes The main actress is so annoying... She's screaming…
korean dramas have a habit of overstaying their welcome. they're often longer than they should be and tend to lack due to a lot of wasted time on romance that is either too lengthy or unnecessary to the plot.
I just finished Episode 2 and am wondering if I should continue. Is this drama basically all eating scenes and…
it does become funnier and develop some plots and builds on romantic interest so in that sense it is a great show. but if it's purely the plot that your after, then this will be kind of a lack luster until the last two episodes and the others very slowly developing to it. All in all, it's a great show 8/10. i would say that it's worth watching.
what do you mean he 'shamelessly told her to go wash her face.'; for gods sake it was their wedding photo shoot! the bitch is a total psycho! If she 'sincerely' wanted to know if he would still love her through to the day when she actually became old, then she should have sincerely asked at a better setting.
Luckily, i feel that it is staged. You have to talk to quite a few people before you pull something like this off unless you did the makeup and dressing yourself and if they had any shred of common decency, then it would talk some sense into you.
also, the third one would not make a good drama ( maybe a good plot in a story) and with no 4 and 5; WTF?!
