i know he is supposed to be mentally challenged but they made it seem as if he couldn't walk, run or move properly…
Damn! i'm so sorry for spoiling it; i don't know why it didn't occur to me at the time that it was a spoiler. i hope you still enjoyed it though.
as for his impairments, i know that they were explained in the drama however it would have been so much better if they eased up on his handicap. i get that it may have been used to exaggerate the effect of the drug on him, i just felt that it (personally) ruined it. the plot seemed really interesting though.
again, about the spoiler: http://www.mememaker.net/static/images/memes/4390942.jpg
it's funny how he's playing tennis using a computer and acting as if it is the most exhausting thing in the world. i get there's a lot of movement involved but essentially, he's just playing wii in an actual tennis racket. a lot of energy is dispensed by actually hitting the ball. i guess it helped his reflexes. right, time to start my quest through this highly raved show!
this drama ruined my life!!! this was the first K-drama i had ever watched(that was this April), and now i can't…
Japanese dramas are much better than they are given credit for. they are more story driven than most Kdramas (though some can be really slow; but you can tell which ones they are through the comments). As for 1LOT's, it's actually really well directed, hence the reason it's always retained a position among the top 3 Asian dramas on this site.
As for signal, it has a similar concept to Frequency but only in terms of being able to communicate to the past and murder. Its plots are more interesting and intricate and focuses on uncovering the culprits in unsolved murders. There is also conspiracy involved. It’s one of those shows that are truly noteworthy.

9 Seconds - Eternal Love (short), Splash Splash LOVE (really short, funny and awesome), 1 Litre of Tears (11 eps of 45 mins, it has romance but as the title states, expect to cry a litre of tears, go to costco and bulk buy tissues and a big ass bin), once in a summer ( movie), orange days (focuses on friendship as well), gu family book (about a mystical forest beast, who falls in love with a human, don't wanna say anymore or i'll spoil it), ugly alert (this is really long but definitely worth picking up if you have the time. you don't really need the patience as you'll be hooked once you get into it), pinocchio, pride, the lover (about four couples living in the same apartment, expect to laugh contagiously), boys over flowers (a romance that most kdrama fans have watched), Angry mom (has romance but mostly focuses on a mothers love to do anything for her child).
And last but not least Reply 1988. the best comedic romance of the series!!!*
this is the one that i would prioritize. if you are planning to watch the whole series, the order is 97, 94, 88 and i suggest you watch it like this otherwise 1988 would overshadow the others. it leaves such a warm nostalgic feeling that you can't get over.
also watch 'signal'. though it's not romance, it's awesome!
honestly i stopped at end of episode 4 because i found it a bit boring should i give it a chance?? my standards…
i'm the type that has to finish the whole series once i've started it. this was one of those shows i felt like giving up after the fourth episode but soldiered on...to my dismay, it didn't get much better. i see why people like it, kind of, but i feel that if you weren't into it a few episodes in, don't expect it to get much better.
i like how this deals with romance more realistically (as AnicsiRoscoe mentioned) but it was boring and also the second leads love story was better. if you expect the plot to get any better as you march on, you'll be disappointed (or happy, if you're enjoying it so far) to find out that they were quite consistent the plot intensity.
if you really need to watch it, watch it on firefox through kissasian at 2X's the speed. or just watch the recap specials, they summaries the whole series in two episodes (obviously missing a lot of the plot).
TIL; Koreans think that volcanic eruptions in Canada are a likely occurrence. I have no words. This drama was…
lol, i felt like it had quite a bit of fan service. dudes always running about topless with the women always gawking. it lead to some comedic situations which made me laugh.
so disappointing i dropped it half way through the 4th episode i just couldn't force myself anymore! the main…

On another note, Signal is AWESOME!!! you're in for a treat!
i'm going to get so much hate (maybe) but i really didnt like the drama. plot is really typical but due too much…
i finally forced myself into completing DOTS. it was ok; definitely overrated, but had some merit. The cast was great and the comedy at some parts was stellar however i expected more from the story (especially from the North Korean dude), but they weren't able to deliver. it would have been awesome if the whole story-line was about undercover work within DPRK (though that would probably lead to backlash from north korea, so that's out of the question).
and i'm glad you criticized the show. i tend to go through comments looking for both sides of the argument; it makes it easier to determine whether it's really worth watching.
The Pied Piper actually led the children away after they screwed him on his payment. Not bringing the rats back.
@Iontongstroong i assume that it's following the original story slightly. initially the piper leads all the children away into a cave rather than slaughtering the villagers.
Maybe I am dumb but I still quite don't understand the ending. Can someone please explain?
Bingo! i have to admit, though i thought of something along the same lines as you, my description was way too vague. Yours however was rather well explained. kudos.
they did a good job in hiring such a great cast! i really enjoyed watching this show. it's very funny, definitely worth watching.

i thought this wasn't going to be a major spoiler; boy was i wrong!
