after completing this show, i would say exactly the same thing. the drama was good but the ending was disappointing.

when i started it off i didn't like it (the first episode wasn't great for me) but then i got in to it and ended up completing it in 5 days (it's the holidays; so much free time. and i watched it in double speed). some things will frustrate you (there's comments i left above) but it's actually quite good. worth watching if you have the time to spare but it can be quite slow at times, so i'd advise watching it at 2X's the normal speed. don't hesitate to skip episodes, not everything is pivotal to the plot. again, it's worth watching. 8/10

i'm still in that state and probably will always be. i have to complete a show that i've started. it's rare for me to drop something. stuck through some awful series with good ratings just in case it got better. the ones i want to drop i always put on hold and complete later. it's so frustrating but i have an urge to complete it! ugh!

comedy and horror in a movie. not that it can't be done, it's just a weird/interesting combination. guess i have to check it out.

this doesn't have any gay romance does it? i'd personally like to avoid it if it does. thanks.

you can use it straight from firefox (you can't really do that in chrome other than in youtube). you don't get to feel the emotional scenes completely however it's still a good experience due to long shows like this seeming to drag out sentences when they're speaking (or that's how it seems to me when i watch them).

he was really awesome in 'Smile, Dong Hae', played the role very well. really good actor.

her role in 'smile, dong hai' was played really well. it wasn't overkill like in 'flowers of algernon' (that jdrama was really hard to watch). she's a beautiful actress, i can't believe she's 50, i thought she was 35-40.

i tend to watch long series at 2x's the speed so i guess 41.75 for me.

ok, i guess the Yoon family ain't completely bad.
now that i've completed the show, i can say that i enjoyed watching it. it's a really good show that is actually worthwhile to watch.

lol, if it came across as angry, it was not intended. i guess i started my second comment in a way that sounds angry but was intended to be a joke (a big flop while we're at it).
and personally i thought reply 1997 was the worst of the series and isn't anywhere near as well refined as reply 1988. it was watchable but definitely not that enjoyable.
