In episode 1 Hong Hee Ju endured the marriage for 3 years, where there was no affection in their marriage. She had hopes that even after all this years their might be a chance, that their relationship will change. She can't runaway from this marriage, but she hoped and believed that one day their relation will change.
As Baek Sa Eon was the only person in her life (from childhood) who understood her, without her saying anything. Even after 3 years of coldness between them she believed that things will change, But that one line "Call me when there is corpse", shattered her heart into pieces.

I watched all three of them, Definitely LIVE is an amazing show. Giving all the raw emotions needed. Having a screenplay with a unique ip of showing raw realistic emotions, rather than repeating the old clichéd plot. Reply 1988, Prison Playbook, Hospital Playlist are my all time favorites, But LIVE came as an surprise to me, I started it with zero expectation, I was at 13-14th episode and it was already a 10/10 show for me....

Sir/ Mam you know right, it is a Noir show. That's how this genre is, The story was not about who is evil, everyone here is evil. The story was about how worst they can be. Also it comes into noir genre. From the moment this show categorized as a neo noir show you can't expect morality here.
